it wont let me buy the shild u have to buy to continue the totorial. If i scip buying it i need it anyways to continue throught totorial. what do i do?

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, however I'm not sure how you're unable to buy the civilian shield boosters, as you start with 5k ISK, and the shield boosters are only a couple hundred ISK iirc.

judging by the time stamp on this post,were you in jita by any chance? Because if you were the market was broken last night and nobody could buy anything.
it was very annoying i had a shiny new rook i wanted fit out but couldn't
