Many of us have read the flames and trolls but we keep on feeding them.
Im sure there are many good poster in this community
but there are many bad once unforcanly.
you have go to to anoder webpage to search after post here in eve and the results is many simlary post so the ccp shoud improve this side whit good search funcsion.
But that is not the only problem most of us keep on replying the flames and trolls
on this forum making it worse.
I allso want report post button in eve and block in eve forums.
But have to ask all of you is it posible to get a good community here?

People really have strong opinions about EvE, thus the forums has lots of rants and flames.
I just ignore all the flame posts, it's not too hard to do.
The forums really aren't that important anyway though, and if you don't like them, don't use them.
As for basing a whole game's community off of forum activity....

A lot of peeps in the forum like to play the blame game.
And they have no real proof to back up what they say.
pathetic.
I like to talk to people and exchange ideas but these haters are useless.
I'll call them Huggers of blame, holding onto fantasies of problems caused by others.

Been playing almost a year and lately GD have had more trolls and flamers then before. Actually it's quite bad right now 
But it's kinda so, with a large playerbase there is always some or even more than a few that is going to troll, flame and spreading bad vibrations.
Still EVE community is better than most of the other games I have played or still play.

i find that eve has the best community.. sure there are alot of flamers.. but there are still tons of masses posting good posts...
which is alot better than other games....
i love the community... the players.. the helpers... the dev's...
But
not the CRC

The community that exists in eve is one of the best of all the games I have played. I've been playing eve now for over 3 years, and have seen many changes.
In my opinion it is due to the fact that people care that people feel the need to voice their opinion. Those people that don't care, are usually the people that don't stay with the game or build the community.
Whilst the majority of eve players aren't always as prolific on the forums, they do tend to get involved in many other ways that benefits the community of the game.

The ppl on the forums are not worse or better than the ppl on other MMO's foruns.
The ppl in the game are infenitelly better than all MMO's I've ever played. They are helpfull and generally polite.
I've found myself having really nice chats ingame with ppl who have just killed me or who I have just killed, you won't find that in most other MMO's...

I find on average that people in-game are much more friendly than would have you believe on these forums.
Forums have a strange effect, its intellectual warfare here, more personal and easier to be made a fool. So its "all out" or nothing.

Not to be contrary but I find many interesting opinions and helpful people are on the eve-online forums.
Even the developers to an extent are present and sometimes show that they care by making contributions to it.

There will always be the 'bad' types of people on forums.. most fourms, especially those about games all have their fair share of whiners, kids, and flamers.. Eve has a really great community regardless of the forum warfare (which also sometimes isn't bad - some people put a lot of work into balance arguments / CAOD wars)

I've been playing a lot of City of Villains lately, and as many people can attest, i LOVE forums.
So I'm on the CoV forums, browsing all these posts from new players asking about game mechanics, looking for help, getting advice etc. Mixed in are players asking about how advanced missions should be run, an occasional whine about a change from a patch, all your normal forum stuff.
Then I begin to notice a pattern.... All of the responses, get this, are HELPFUL. Its weird, theres no flames, no making fun of noobs, no telling them to go play WoW. It's more than weird, its FRIGHTENING. After seeing a 3 page thread all with patient advice on how to correctly build a villainous lair, I simply ran screaming from the PC in terror.
I mean, whats the world coming to when a community doesn't sit around waiting to jump the newest unfortunate who dares to express ignorance on a forum!? Anyway, now I'm back here, where it's safe and secure and...... warm

Paradox Interactive forums are in the same state of patience and friendlyness. People jump newbies, but only to out all the hard attained advise. A forum dedicated to grand strategic level has a lot of patient users.
It is often a question of the admins and mods being strict against any kinds of flame since it's the only way to filter the flameers and flamebaiters out. Not to mention spammers, they are a nuisanse that the internet could do without.

And eve-o isn't very different if you learn to ignore the immature players who've discovered they have a voice.
Get any community to grow beyond a certain size and it's bound to happen. =)
