Ok , i been training to fly this ship for a while now , i am now sitting at 40 days away after i get my med t2 guns to lvl 4 , i still need to get BC 5 which is were a lot of my training time is going to (26 days (4 days for lvl 4)) the rest is mod's and what not to fly it good(which i am training first)
should i just halt my training for this and start training for EoS , i wont lie either my drone skills suck , to get t2 drones its gonna be something like 35 days , thats really why i never got around to training it , that and i always been a enyo pilot (love then little buggers)
i can almost use all t2 gear but people tell me an eos would have been the better of the choices

Er...Enyo and Eos are almost exclusively Drone ships, why would you say you love to fly them/want to train for them if you have low drone skills?
Astarte is a damage dealer, but drones are almost as important as the guns. When flying the Eos, drones ARE your main weapon.

EOS would be the safer option, better survivability,
saying that, all the Astarte pilots I know never complain!

enyo isnt the drone assault frig, the ishkur is...
and I do prefer my eos over the astarte but both are good ships so if I were u I woudl finish training for the astarte then just do the last bit of training for eos, cause if u rflying gallente u want good drone skills either way :)
so ya.. just train astarte then train for eos... shoudlnt be that much longer

Eos has no drone damage bonus. You will still be relying on your Blasters if you want to kill anything.

I love my Eos fro small gangs and solo work, but I love the astarte too. And tbh I fly the Eos more cause its cheaper by 50 mil haha

Eos has no drone damage bonus. You will still be relying on your Blasters if you want to kill anything.
It does however have a bonus to drones, so its not a total loss.

An all Eos setups I've used that are not gang link oriented, there was more DPS from the guns than the drones by around a factor of 2.

If you fit astarte with neutron gank, it will do more damage than the Eos.
However, the moment you put a tank on both the eos and the astarte, the Eos starts to do same/more dps than astarte while tanking better.

That which is known as the damage vs tank ratio. This is why i prefer the eos, fits a good tank and does very, very good dps.
