Drebble Gallente S-44 Coalition of Carebear Killers	Posted - 2007.05.30 17:32:00 - [1] <rant> I hope swift and firm punishments are handed out to any and all accounts that can be traced to the organized spam attack. Purposefully overloading a forum can be considered a Denial of Service Attack, and slander is bad as well, so go get them in RL too. People who seek to ruin my playing experience (and try to hurt those who provide it) should NOT be treated gently. If people have issues there are proper channels. Or counseling. Nothing excuses this kind of action. And if you believe CCP is so evil and horrible that petitions and civilized feedback wont do any good - then find a game that is not run by Satan himself, dont let the door hit you on the way out. To anyone quitting EVE over this, dont forget to send your ISK and items to this character first! </rant> --- Ships are just ISK. Honor is forever!

As you correctly say, there was some struggle before they admitted it. Big mistake. Bad. Out of four years of hard work to build the game we all cherish and love. Four years. One big screw up. One. Im not counting this latest hassle, because I am not yet convinced its even an issue. The methods used to propagate it cast (as you say) a very dark shadow on the motives of this campaign. And all it takes is a nice and juicy conspiracy theory and everyone forgets four years of good service and flips out on CCP. Precendence only works on bad stuff, it seems. I guess you are not happy when the firemen saves you from a fire, or when a resturant gives you really good service and food, because thats what they are paid for. My time is running out, soon my new gfx card will arrive and I can play again, so I wont have time to read the forums.
