Thankyou for the investigation. I hope people understand why this was needed. However, there are still a few things that seem odd.
Firstly, it was claimed that this was said in local, during the incident (one of the incidents) which resulted in the sacking of a GM:
"Well, I guess I'll have to call up my friends in CCP and get you dealt with."
Was this statement a fabrication? I have not seen logs regarding this, so I have no idea. If it is true (i'm not implying that it is), what lines of communication were used?
Also is it true that said GM never recieved a mail explaining his dismissal? Or is this also a fabrication? If it isn't a fabrication, what is the explanation?
Also is there absolute denial that no channels outside of the official ones have ever been used by a player to gain a CCP response? If certain players have employee MSN contacts, how do you know this to be the case?
I apologise if these questions have already been answered elsewhere, however they are not answered directly in this blog.

There has been a complete misunderstanding of what Dianabolic actual wrote in the 170-page thread. He said that he occasionally talks to ex-corp mates (friends) that are now working for CCP.
Why does he know they are working for CCP? Why should they have told him? That implies that he knows the ingame characters of CCP staff.
That actually sounds worse.
Example - darthsolo gets a job at ccp and tells you about it, do you simply stop talking to him?
The point is, he isn't meant to tell me. You aren't supposed to know the ingame characters of CCP staff. I knew someone who was applying for ISD and he told me this was part of the rules. For all I know that person could be in ISD now, they didn't say. That information would be a conflict of interest and that is just ISD.
So in your example, the responsibility would not be on me, it would be on the individual going to work at CCP. See my point?
If you know someone ingame, no matter how well, they have NO reason at all to tell you they are working at CCP. Non what-so-ever.

I said it then, and I will say it now - Your kind of people, are a disease to the human race.
Take your own advice and be quiet.
That is the single most moronic thing I have ever seen on these forums since someone told a guy that he would "beat him so bad his mother would puke" if he met him in real life.
EDIT: I mean seriously get some ******* perspective. If you really think that about a guy just because he doubts a computer game companies statement, then there is something very wrong. Are you ranking this guy along side mass murderers or something? Good god get a grip.

Fair enough, maybe too harsh...disease to the EVE World then, either way, I don't like their kind, and nothing you can say or do will change that.
You people are two sides of the same coin.
On one hand you have people who believe that CCP are doing all kinds of evil stuff, without specific evidence. Then you have people like yourself who flip out and become abrasive when people ask questions.
That is not dialectical, both positions are polarised and rhetorical - they have no value. Personally I would actually like to know the facts without people's schoolyard crap getting in the way.
Ammoina is right on one point, there are still questions that have not been answered directly - see one of my earlier posts in this thread. Is that confirmation that CCP eats babies? No.
Many people are paying for this product and want to make sure they are not being ****ed around. Is that wrong?
It is absurd that people have to constantly rationalise the fact that they want basic straight forward answers, without people screaming at each other like kids all the time, or bringing some entirely irrelevant ingame politics into the debate.

So are you saying that the points that were not covered in this CCP statement are an irrelevance?

The police analogy has little relevance.
As far as I know, CCP has a policy that staff should not inform players of their in game characters. If that is happening, that policy is being breached.
That is no way is analogous to the police force. Unless of course your police have secret identities (they could be batman for example?).
As has already been eluded to in this thread, the people who have CCP contacts on MSN knew them ingame to begin with. They then informed them that they were going to work at CCP. It may not be the case, but this implies that certain CCP staff have let people know thier ingame characters, which is (I believe) against CCP policy.
Also it was this close fraternisation between staff and players that led to the t20 incident (however I hope other CCP staff are not quite so irrational).

I had almost forgotten about this thread.
So are CCP staff supposed to be letting people know who thier ingame characters are or not?
