I am really worried about the state of this community tho and where do we go from here. While im sure some are saying "good, bye goons" that ofc will not solve anything. The game has been hit for wrecking damage in that a significant portion of the community are now up in arms about the intentions and neutrality of CCP

I am also pretty disgusted to see the pro bob v pro goon slanging matches going on in here, i am seeing some dirty, venom, hate filled attitudes in this page alone that show this has long ago been just a game to those involved. I saw a post from an old DDC friend of mine recently which was accusing DS1 of 'engineering' this situation..... nothing i say will make the neysayers believe me other than these accusations are groundless.

At the end of the ASCN war i was pretty ****ed off about the death of that alliance, but i saw only too quickly that my attitude wasnt healthy so i took some time away and enjoyed sports, girlfriends cooking, won RL career for a while etc and did hauler missions once a sunday for a couple months..... it was the rejuvination i needed so that when i clicked 'log in' i would chuckle at the game, and not be driven by an underlying need to resent another human being.

Gil and i have always set up ds1 to be about shooting the best pvpers out there, atm that is bob, tomorrow it could be someone else. The underlying premise of DS1 = having fun and not taking anything too seriously again after the ASCN war. (our corp chat is a testament to a unified group of people from around the globe who take vast interest in all aspects of the game and each others RL, one of our directors is going to give a graduate with us a job! a wonderful situation borught about by eveonline) (plus most of us in DS1 are oldies hehe)

The drama bomb has brought the corp i started to a level of infamy that others can only dream of, i welcome NONE OF IT. If for one moment i sensed that someone in ds1 was puposefully on a RL vendetta against another player or CCP, i would kick them out very fast(and have done) while not 100% happy with Arkanons details of the event, i trust him totaly, he says nothing went on at all..... nothing went on period.

I know alot of you see my name/corp/alliance and form an opinion of me straight away, all i can say is please dont let current level of animosity destroy eve, we brought about the sharkbait incident when we couldnt get answers, perhaps we were wrong - reputation is a powerful thing and accounts active even more so, sure some will say "haha let goons leave" that damages us all in the long run and leads to one place, the end.

SO i guess thats the choice we have now, continue on with serious sociopathic behaviour or step back, see what a cool game this is and decide to play it as human beings and not rabid dogs.

Im sure some will not even read these words and quickly quote me to their own ends, i for one just want to say i TRUST CCP and love eve and would be very unhappy to see it stop trading.
