I had a great time in ISSN, all the people and all the ops and action we had. It was my first taste of PVP in Eve, and if it wasn't for my RL friend dragging me down to ISS Marginis to apply for the corp, I probably would have left Eve by now.
Best of luck to all of the people I flew with. o7

I remember flying alongside ISSN fondly. They taught me a lot about living in 0.0. It's a sad day to see it close, but one I can understand.

i had a short stint in ISSN and have nothing but good things to say about my time there. The funnest thing was the often relocations of the fleet that provided new enemies all the time.
good luck

I'm sad to see ISSN go, but it's also good to se all the old faces in this thread. Like Mynas and so many others here, ISSN was my first true introduction to 0.0 fleet operations and alliance PvP. Good times and good company were never in short supply in ISS ops.
Hats off to the management for making half-decent PvPers out of a bunch of pretty inexperienced players. Fly safe out there!
See the door that lies before you And know this too shall pass. The confrontation of your tears In strength drawn from the past. When the silent voices whisper, Find the course that is your own, And however great the obstacle, You will never be alone.

I knew this was coming after the stations went, however it is still a shame to see it happen.
I'd have left this game without ISSN, and I wish it'd been allowed to be what it should have been.
Cheers all, and fly safe.

My first 0.0 corp. Sad to see you go, it was great fun and the corp stood for something that very few in Eve do. We did great things and had great times as part of ISS. I thank all involved for great time and showing me how Eve was ment to be played :)
Hopefully will see ya guys around.

ISSN, Where we all cut our teeth in pvp. I'm VERY sad to see ISSN go, in there ranks I learned to love and hate EVE. I'll always keep that time dear.

we all take with us the memories and passion that carried us through the years. i think that will fuel our desires for our future.
what we've acheived as individuals speaks volumes for what this corp has done. i think that will be reflected in each one of our futures.
so we shed our ISSN skins and break forth into a new era.. ISSN is growing up.. maturing. i can't wait for what comes next!

Very sad to see ISSN finally go was a real fun time in game.
Memories like 9UY, scuffles with est and the nyx, the priory and the fact it was impossible to kill magz, IAC and DHBs crow and all the roaming gangs down HED or wherever.
Was the people that made it, friends and foes there were some great characters around the corp and its nice seeing some of them in this thread.
See you out there o/

My greatest EVE memories have been and will continue to be the time I spent with ISSN. From the CC/CVA war, to EC-P8R, 9UY and the start of the New Eden war, ISSN was always the place I called home. ISSN was the closest to being a 'real' military in EVE with a rank structure and deployments. It was truly a unique experience that no one is able to make now.
To the many friends (and the long hostile list :) ), I would like to say Thank you and I look forward to seeing all of you in space.
Salute. Vice Admiral (Retired) Alexandra Dekator.

ISS dead? tbh I've been really busy in RL so I haven't been able to play much in the last 2 months. Evidently there's still some targets up north though... perhaps we could talk Mynas into organizing an ex-ISSNers road trip north out of EC one night?

Hmmm.
I have some good memories, though I cringe when I think of how much of my time and effort went into (trying) to make ISSN credible and up to the task.
When I first joined we had only about 20 members, mostly alts, and an average of 4 people online at a time. We peaked at about 200 members (lots of alts and spys of course ) and I believe the largest gang we fielded was about 60, in defence of the CC/CDC invasion of ZXIC. Quite a turnaround considering how much of a challenge it was attracting PvP oriented players to ISS.
The roadtrips to places like EC-P8R were also pretty good, and in some ways we were pioneers of mass figther bombing (doing it with regularity before it become widely popular).
At times I felt we made real progress, the quality of our PvP increased dramatically (though was still lacking at times) and we became pretty good fun to fight, I hope. I like to think were were willing and not too concerned with things like K/D ratios.
And ultimately, well, I am still flying alongside friends from ISSN - the majority of whom I originally recruited. So, we weren't all alts and spys at least
RIP, ISSN.

So true.
ISSN was my first taste of PvP and I am proud to have worked under some fantastic FC's, (especially Mynas, Butter and Algey) and alongside so many great people, too many to mention. Im pleased to see so many still playing. RIP ISSN O7
