What you need to keep in mind is that most of these guys are having fun. They really enjoy being idiotic. The get drunk and appoint the newest guy around to command them in battle. The find new and more creative ways to uselessly die. All then while they call themselves names. They constantly make fun of everything around them.
All the time I have spent reading their forums and flying in their gangs ( I am not telling you as who, I am not the singing spy) I have come to find that these guys for the most part just don't care about eve they care about having what they consider fun. So far this looks like a pro-goon post.
IT IS NOT.
They have a leadership core that is totally and completely rotten. The top of this pyramid scam has bilked billions of isk from the players, they have scammed the very people they claim to champion. They are corrupt and full of hate. They are racist, bigotted, and homophobic. The comments that are made are often repeated by much newer goons thinking that they are jokes, but they are not. They champion the use of crude pictures such as Will Smith stomping down the World Trade Centre or a man punching a woman as they enter court in their signatures.
But the worst thing about them is that they will find everything I said as a reason to get more crass and make more vile images. They feed of this like catfish on sewage.
They are sick, twisted and vile and it is tragic that most of the fun loving goons are falling head over heels in love with them.
I completely agree with what goonfleet does, It introduces noobs to 0.0 and fleet combat. It breaks them in and makes the game fun for people that have spent a month or 2 missioning in high sec and want to see something else. There is tons of room in eve for that part of goonfleet, But for4 the people at the top, it is only a matter of time before they really screw up in game or rl and are forced to leave.
I will sit back and continue to enjoy the antics of the lower level goons while despising and collecting the stupidity of the ones who believe that they are truely above the law and eula.

Actually I have flown with him for his whole career (in a variety of characters) in Eve, he would realy have made the best choice as Goonfleet CEO. at least compared to the fools that were choosen by the other fools.
