Talkie Toaster Amarr	Posted - 2007.06.03 14:32:00 - [33] really looking forward to the dx 9 engine. i have a 8800gts but could care less about the dx10 engie as i dont run vista. i did for a few weeks but it was the same old story, bad drivers, certain things not working (3ds max 9 for example) that made me go back to an XP thats been treating me well for a long time. for me, xp aint broke, so why bother fixing it.

Ground up new build = good. With any luck there will be workarounds for getting DX10 on XP anyway. New ship class

The DX10 version of EVE will be virtually the same as the DX9 version in looks - There's nothing really exclusive to either, at least not in the beginning, the DX9 version will look as awesome as the DX10 one. Oculto Capote Viziam	Posted - 2007.06.05 09:20:00 - [38] this has been talked about for ages and it nevers seems happen. and tbh eve is falling back alot now - yes it was nice and groundbreaking a few years ago but sadly lacking now. The same backgrounds where ever you go, no real decent space environments, its just one big texture thats the same, if you just flew through a system in eve nothing would change. The planets are dull etc, so i think a major overall is needed. There is a new MMO space game coming called infinity and if CCP dont do anything soon then this will be the next big thing by a long way.
