Cass,
It was your boyz who claimed 65 ships...
It was your boyz who logged 1 JUMP FROM A FIGHT.
It's us who jumped at you when we saw you logging off.
It's tragic we have to shame you into trying to back your words with actions.

were YOU going to jump into the NVA fleet? I think not.
The trouble with the pathetic excuses for pilots that form the NVA is EVERYTHING is lose-lose to them
WE came to YOU and still you were nowhere to be found, ran off as usual waiting and praying for your forum ninja's to pick us off one by one on the damn boards. BORING!

To Jhered, I always watch the map. Since when has it correctly showed pilots in space?
I seen it get up to around 15-20 pilots showing in space where the "big red blobs" were. So ya....
To the other FE cry babies, get over yourselves, you aren't that important.
errr wait....so now you are saying you jumped into the NVA fleet as they were logging off?

Map is broken, you should know it.
My summary: I have been around with up to ~45 NVA pilots in EC-P8R for a while. Later we have been following their main fleet for quite a while since they left after our fleet in UMI-KK (FE) chased the H-PA (NVA) dudes.
SI and TunDraGon entered then their (log off) system with 10 people seeing around 15 of them and they were hiding.
The guys in UMI-KK have been trapped from 3 directions, SI and TunDraGon forces have been split from the FE's main forces and sometimes 5-10 jumps (other route) away from NVA's main fleet.
Instead of directly moving NVA's main fleet to UMI-KK and usig H-PA's secondary and MSHD-4's tertiary fleet to assist the main fleet NVA decided to move like fat asses and log off 2 jumps away from a trapped FE fleet.
Reasons? They would have lost anyway, so I understand them perfectly. On the other hand, why did you pull out the maneuvre at all? Stay in the empire space, your dream of controlling a region is just a bad joke. -- Stories: #1 --

Yeah, I read that, just agreeing with you that the map has always been off. But if you were just looking at the 'big red blobs' you weren't there. So you really shouldn't have anything to say.

Look, Masor, we were there for about 9 hours. I was up in Venal since 1pm today (its like 11pm right now). You can't claim that it got late all of a sudden and you didn't have time. It was the most pathetic show I've ever seen --- you guys advance up to 2 jumps away and then majestically log off.

I wasnt at the battle, was happily carebearing at my HQ, dont care what the outcome was, dont care at all about anything within this post BUT I thought id just link a post that could explain why the NVA fleet didnt engage, its even made by one of your bumchums, Stavros..
Stavros reasons why fleet battles suck, but oh hey we'll ignore this we just want an excuse to spam the forums with more crap as per usual.

The situation in Venal was nothing like that and if anyone from either side say's it was they are liers! I was there. I saw what went down.
No matter what you NVA or NVA sypathizers say. We met NVA challenge and they backed down out of pure fear! There was the usual lag of course but no instability what so ever.

Essentially we were outmaneuvered--and since you don't attack on your enemy's terms, you don't get your battle tonight. Therefore, you accomplish nothing. We all know it takes some planning for you to get that big a fleet together.
We all know that when you set up an encampment, you sit pray for us to jump into it because the fleet that arrives at the battleground first has a huge advantage. And we've done it several times, because we were actually foolish enough to be affected by the nonsense that comes from your "mouths." We aren't playing your game any more.
It's also obvious that you believe that by using the forums (the forums that you don't care about, of course ) that you can somehow goad us into attacking. Nope.
Oh, and by the way...some of us don't have the time or the inclination to play this game for 8-10 hours at a shot. There is such a thing as life outside of Eve.

This is a joke. COMPLETE joke! They can't seriously claim Venal when we have essentially patrolled up and down Venal all day today and havent been challenged once. NOW what happens --- they finally come within 2 jumps of our fleet and they all log off LOL.
Just a bunch of pusies is all they are.
This is a perfect example of the aforementioned goading. First of all...you want us to attack/defend on your schedule. Screw that. Just because you got your fleet together for a few hours does not mean we need to feel like "OMG! OMG! FE in UMI-KK!! Let's all RUSH to take them on!!! Because...that's what THEY WANT. So, let's do what THEY WANT! YEAH!"
Anyway, FE is very good with propaganda but it's all becoming very predictable. The VA is no longer a slave to PR.

You guys were in EC-P8R, then you moved to X-7OMU. Then you, the NVA, came up to the system two jumps away from us. We waited, and waited, and said screw it. So we came to your position and didn't find anything. So technically, we came to fight 'on your terms', but you still ran/logged/hid. That is an accurate account of what happened, in a nutshell.
And sure, a little bit of planning was made on both sides. I'm sure that the NVA, NVE, whatever, can't muster that size on a regular basis.
Oh well, 'til next time.

I'm sure that people logged for many different reasons. It might even be that someone logged because he/she was afraid of losing a ship. Who knows? None of us can read minds.
I know that I, personally, logged out because I had dinner plans. I told the gang an hour beforehand I was going to have to log. So...I'm a coward now? Lol, bite me! And we had at least twenty members playing well past the time they were ready to call it a night.
Let me also add that NVE was not organized at all for a fleet battle. We had members of Jericho Fraction trying to join the fleet, not yet aware that their status in the alliance had changed. We had a few members remaking communication and teamspeak channels, issuing invitations....I'm shocked we got as large a fleet together as we did.
Everything changed and had to be remade on the fly. It took forever for the fleet to form. By that time, many members were growing extremely tired/impatient/frustrated. To be honest, I'm surprised people weren't logging out sooner.
It had little to do with bravery or lack thereof--though if it makes you feel better to believe that then so be it.

Noone called you a coward. I know that people have RL obligations they need to tend to. We had quite of few people playing past their normal time too, ya know.
All I'm wondering is why did they advance all the way to us and then do nothing? And when we came, why did they hide? Didn't they have the advantage in numbers and the fact they already were in a defensive position?
As far as not being ready for a fleet battle. Since other talks didn't go through, did you think we were going to sit on our hands? I thought it was quite clear that further aggression was to pursue if said talks didn't go through. You guys should've been ready. I guess that's crappy planning on your behalf.
