Hi, Im currently on lvl 3 agents but still no BPc or Implants. Will I get a BP from a production based agent? Trouble is that she is only lvl 1 agent. All my lvl 3 agents are Distribution or Marketing. I thought it may have some thing to do with my skills so I have just trained lvl 5 science and I am thinking of doing my production skills.... Any info would be most helpful. Live long and prosper *Coji*

For BP, just look the corp market transactions in corp info, if they have BPs in offer they will be likely to give it to you as reward. It is same for the skills or anything else.

Edited by: Foomanshoe on 12/01/2004 04:52:55 You should also note that division (other then R&D) doesnt have an effect, so if you have L3 agents available, use them. They will greatly improve your chances of getting a BP and especially a Implant, since only L3 agents give out implants _______________________________________________

While this is *great* advice, it doesn't work for "anything else".
In particular, it doesn't work for *implants*.
Thanks, Navy Lady, for that Perception implant 2 seconds after I checked Navy transactions like this post said :)
Actually, for all 3 corps that have given me implants this weekend, not one has those listed on their transactions. Good tip elsewise, explains much

Implants is about the only thing it doesn't work for; but then, any corp's agents should have a shot at giving you implants - for the four main empires, anyway. Not sure about the others.

Although, having received 3 implants from 3 different corps recently, I can recommend this thread for accuracy and some indication of Implant rewards.
Keep in mind implant missions are rare events. Yer not guarranteed or even "due" or "owed" an implant :)

Um I've never see Partial Hull Conversion Cargo Expanders (24.2%) on the market Activity tab of any corp.
Yet corp mate just got 1 as time bonus from an agent??

Mission rewards come in a few categories:
1. Cash 2. Stuff the corp is selling 3. Tech 2 components, skills, and tools 4. Stuff that is totally mission specific.
Implants fall under (4). There are a few specific missions that dish out implants as rewards. Those missions can be configured to work for certain factions, corp types, agent levels, agent nose size, etc.
Plenty of people on these forums can tell you more about how these and other missions are configured. (I won't be discussing specific mission details.)

Honourable Wise Blue One, do all corporations have specific missions of type 4 that dish out implants, or are some people actually not just unlikely to get such a mission, they're never going to get one?
Forgive me for asking, but the corporation that loves me most, Quafe, hasn't been mentioned in any of the 'What corp, what implant?' threads I've scanned... and it's not the most obvious corporation to toil for (just part of being consistently haphazard: working for a Gallente corporation producing toxic soda in the outer fringe of Caldari space).
I started working for Quafe months and months ago, based on the assumption that, as "the only Gallentean company that's been given a corporation status within the Caldari State", my Caldari standing wouldn't get hit so badly when I worked for them. It was soon evidently a bogus assumption, so I also wondered if it is even possible to vary the derived faction hit on a corporation-by-corporation basis? So that working for Duvolle, for example would be considered much more anti-Caldari than working for Quafe.
EDIT: fix silly apostrophe |
