It must have been a bug, so the ship needs to be given back. If itĘs not, then itĘs an obvious attempt to play favoritism to the Goons for constant whining. CCP canĘt admit to their game still having bugs, so they wonĘt give MoM back. ItĘs a conspiracy, I tell you.
CCP is afraid of any more bad publicity and another spam from goons if they give MoM back, so they wonĘt, even tough they know that it was a combination of a bug and an exploit to kill it.
Quick, spam CCP in protest BoB. It seems to work.
To bad logging isn't an exploit or you might have a point, as for bug well that sucks but if they gave his back the guy in IAC would have to get his back.
BTW nice job RA very well thought out and patient. And the coordination to get a kill like this is amazing very few people could pull it off. Please do not edit moderator sig comments. -Conuion Meow ([email protected]) |

I think you miss the point of that post, what he want to say is that despit everyone saying supercaps can't be killed without using metagaming here is a proof that good planing can do the work just as well.
And to the people who did this, amazing work with planing that far a head and with the will to put the plan to work. I'm sure the people who went into the plex to get killed time after time had a hard time seeing there ships die but in the end it paid off.
If i post something smart it represent my corp and alliance all other posts are my feeling/ideas only and do not represnt the rest |

Good job! Well done for having the patience for baiting the MS and finishing the plan.
It looks like BoB could have a run for their money, after all.

The only alliance that we ever thought would be hard work was ra tbh. It's why it sounds wierd hearing all the doom mongers moan about the end of eve when we are now fighting an enemy with legendary stamina, a true test. They can meet us cap vs cap ( unlike alot of others who sure as hell wouldn't) , fleet for fleet and have good fcs and most importantly, adapt and learn from there enemy.
I have nothing but respect for them on the field, as do alot of my fellow bobs. One of the most intriguing things for me against this new enemy is that we may win a battle and they will appear to withdraw or whatever, then suddenly strike back and hard. The way to wage war if you ask me. Too many other peeps get upset over losing ships but they don't seem to mind, which is great coz at the end of the day, we will both have more fun because we both realise this.

Yup, this is essentially the same as what we tried to do to Tavernier when I arrived in the system. As Tav knows, he simply emergency cyno'd out of trouble. I was stupid and didn't have the emergency cyno char up and running.
In eve, stupidity will always loss you ships regardless of whether it's a kestrel or a titan.

But NOT RA, as it was stated in first post. You should do your own planning instead taking credits .
Anyway, congrats on executed plan. Im rather happy for situations like this. Make others dont get too comfortable. me, myself and I ------> |

It took incredible planning in order for the opportunity to present itself but it also took a desync bug and poor implementation on the part of the MS pilot for this to work. If the desync bug hadn't occured and if the pilot had a cyno in place the MS would have not died. Motherships are indeed still unkillable if the pilot prepares for the encounter properly and game mechanics hold up. Part of the RA/Xdeath strategy however was to get the MS pilot in a frame of mind so that they would make that critical mistake which was a fantastic move.

Yep, in the end, fun it's all that matters. The North tried to give BoB a good run, but it failed for now. Things are still to come, it's not game over.
RA and allies seem good sports, congrats to them.

actually, a desync bug happens if the client thinks it can warp out but the server know it cant, so that means that desync bug or not... He would have died.
