Actually it can just be you being slightly different place on grid (which can still prevent warping). Thing is, if you desync you can no longer see which ships are where relavtive to you and your client things everything is out of range for you to retarget your drones. As a result you can't target the 'dictor, can't drop your own nos on an agressor to reclaim cap and can't drop your fighters/drones onto the BS that are bumping you - aka you can't change things so you can warp out.
Whether the desync changed things so the Mom was lost we'll never know. It almost certainly changed things so that less ships died in the attempt.
None of that detracts from what looks like a nicely planned trap.

Surely alot more of the tacklers would have died also? Enough to turn the tide on all the neuts? maybe not.
It would be nice to think, as implied by the OP, that this was about anything other than getting easier access to a 10/10.

Not all that true as you cannot fight back when your client doesn't think you are still there. Thus the reason only 2 ships were killed (note: Motherships can ALWAYS fight back unlike Carriers). 20 Fighters with lv5 fighters would kill a BS with no tank in a matter of a few seconds and considering he would have 35km+ web and scram there would be no issue with someone taking your fighters for a joy ride. If he would have been able to fight back he may have killed enough of the Neut BS's to get his tank on and kill more and get out since there are not so many people bumping him.

It seems that even if RA would have lost their stations, they would have kept their plexes. :)
Great job though, smacking BoB around is not something any other alliance can do easily.

well they did have 2 carriers and 1 MS, one of the carriers being a nid. so i imagine alot of remote repping. enough to keep all support alive against the fighters of one MS.
respect for the planning though, if it was me id never have even started it though, i would always be thinking that the target would have a emergency cyno. i dont even fly a carrier without a cyno guy ready to jump me out, never mind a ms.
So tisk tisk dbp, u deserved to die there. overconfidence is a weakness.

Now that is a good write up. Simple, correct and as far as I can see without a hint of bias.
And its high-5 for a long and well thought out plan that worked out nicely in the end.
Is there a good answer in regards to desynch issues somewhere btw?
Since its very common for MS pilots for some reason it would be nice to see if CCP has an idea?
Not saying this kill was to desynch/gremlins in the cargo hold, I'm just looking for info.

Good job doesn't really cut it :) The morale boost provided by this is much needed in the North where things are going from bad to worse for the Coalition.
Very well done on planning and executing such a difficult kill. Patience, dedication, leadership, courage, teamwork. more than just words...
Achievements such as this require all of the above - qualities which no single alliance (BoB included) has a monopoly on.

Tht just proofs that if there exist a force capable of hurting BOB, that force is RA (_A_ being considered same thing due to the usual military cooperation).
So to all the doommongers, if you want to make soemthign about your future in eve that you fear so much Support RA. Everyone gains. BOB get a good fight, EVE keeps having more than 1 superpower.

Grats on the kill, and good to see BoB posts givings grats as well. (who says chivalry is dead eh?) I just hope this 'desynch' (like lag, except you can petition it) crap doesn't get it reimbursed, would be very unfair on the several MS pilots who lost theirs in a similar way. BoB doesnt need anything else spawned by CCP anyways :)
