Besides the obvious,hi-slot aggressive weapons..Which is your gotta fit in my setup???
Mine has to be a T2 damage control. I think its a mod no-one should undock without..

Micro Warp Drive.
Damage Controls are really nice but a tad overhyped. Basically, damage controls are great if you're heavily tanked (thus stacking hardeners) or if you know you're going to face overwhelming DPS (normally increasing your effective structure HP by 150%: (1/0.4-1)*100% is best in the case where your primary tank is getting overwhelmed.
Micro Warp Drives however should be fit an each ship that isn't a capital. :) -

PDS deserves mention as it does so many nice things for a shield tank with no drawbacks or stacking penalty.

Damage Control Unit. Structure tanking gives you that little bit longer to kill them or get away. Plus you get a bonus to shild and armour that does not add to your stacking penalties when tanking heavily. Any carrier that does not have one needs to think very carefully why not!

Tie between MWD and damage control. I can't count the number of times I've been able to stay in the fight just long enough to get one more kill thanks to that extra structure resistance, but MWDs are God's gift to pod pilots when interdictors get involved. ------ Director, No Quarter "There is no problem that cannot be solved by the judicious application of violence." |

How about because I get more resists by using an EANM (especially a faction one) in that slot and if someone actually gets my carrier to structure I'm dead anyway.
CFW (Certified Forum Warrior) I kill people ingame too.
