And look at me \o/ ... im solo-camping-pwn-machine. For only freaking 70 mils.Its cheaper even when BS. And my carrier is safe cos it is under POS shield.
EVE is already carebear paradise, don't make it worse.
Because those 5 fighters do soooo much DPS.

i believe the original idea was for fighters to be piloted and able to fit them like any other ship but more limited slots, also they weren't to have a pod so if you died you went straight to a clone... but the trade off was huge damage and speed.
it seems they compromised a great deal here. although it was a very long time ago that i saw this description of carrier.
The production costs for fighters is good bit too high IMO, should be lowered 25-50% min cost
also the skill for carrier is way overpriced, cost of carrier is 1B (roughly) skill is 450M...
i kinda think they did both of these too keep too many people from flying them, but if someone wants it they will just grind harder so cost isn't the way to do it IMO, its skills... make it more sp dependent. IMO this would be better since <6 mo old players can be billionaires (not sure if enough sp to be in a carrier but definatly not effective)

I have lost a full set of fighters after the FIX. CCP refused to reimberse them because the problem wasnt on their logs. You can give them all the evidense they want. If they cant see the fighters missing on their logs (which apparently dont show fighters  ) you cant get them back.
