I am an old character and this is not an alt. I have four years of experience, I have four years of executive experience. I like to do everything in the game (minus pirating) and as such do not look down upon certain professions. For fun I like to create videos and design websites (check community section on eve-o site & RONA Corporation website)
I am passively searching, meaning when I find the right corporation I'll instinctively know it. Based on the aforementioned statement, I have no set notion of what I am looking for. EVE is too big for me to possibly know all of you, hence this post.
I am looking for a professional corporation. Why? because it interests me and inspires to put forth dedication into the corp. There are certain corporations that I will not fit well into (they will obviously not reply to this post).
I am an old player and as such require more than just a 'fun' corp. Do not try to sell me on your fun factor. It's meaningless and taken for granted. Furthermore it does little to inspire me to look up more information about your corp. I also fully expect you to drill me on my past, if you did not expect to do this upon the possibility of me joining your corp, then you are not the right corporation for me.
Furthermore because I am an old player I may carry unwanted baggage of my previous life. Whether or not you have a good image or bad image of me in EVE is based on your personal views.
Every reply will be judged and its merit based purely on its ability to make me want to ask more. As such, a cut & paste will not suffice (I've done your job before).

It sounds like your issue is that you found organizations that formed after the individuals joined this game. Over seven years ago, serious like minded gamers organized a guild, so that they could walk into a game with a command structure in place. Many of these people have been working together for years, but still welcome new players to their ranks, maybe that is what you need LLeBRing, a group that commits to their gaming organization over years. If you are interested please see www.SturmGrenadier.com for details.

Well, I see you've spent a lot of time with RONA, so I'm going to assume that I need not introduce you to KIA. All I feel is useful to tell you at this point is that we are indeed what we're known for: a professional mercenary corporation. When we are off contract, we do a bit of everything depending on the mood, so there is some variation from just PVP if you are so inclined. Feel free to drop me an evemail if you'd like. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships! |

Hi LLeBRing,
What we can offer you in my corp is an up-and-coming corporation (125+ toon, wide time-zone coverage, PvP reimburse program, cap-ships, etc..) in an up-and-coming alliance BRUCE. We are unaffiliated in the "great war", so don't carry all that baggage. We plan to succeed on our own terms. We are currently located in Syndicate (for now), and have a pro-PvP (but anti-pirate) focus. If you are interested in being a member in an organization that is just starting to approach their peak, we are it.
I understand you are interested in creating videos.. What do you think of our old one depicting my corp's past life in EC-P8R?. We are in the process of creating a new one now. :)
If you have any questions, please convo me any time (I am the corp CEO). Or click on the info link under my signature.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Edited by: Strikeclone on 06/06/2007 15:55:00 Good afternoon LLeBRing,
Like you I am a veteran of Eve and can totally empathise with you about the "fun" factor in Eve. I find myself wanting a little more from my gaming time than "counter strike in space" pirate type lifestyle, its a perfectly valid choice for some, just not me.
I used to run the Caldari Assault Group a small mercenary force that was quite successful for about six months till the "counter strike in space" mentality raised its head in several of my core players, shortly after CAG disbanded and as you will see from my employment history I wondered about in Eve quite at a loss as to what to do. Eventually I ended back in Reikoku, but it had changed from the old Great North war days and it was not for me.
So here I am trying to found and build a new CAG style unit in the guise of The Steel Ravens, its been a struggle real life, work etc. have all conspired to minimize my Eve time so that the foundation is barely laid for TSR. The highest number of pilots in TSR so far was four, and two of them have left recently so now its just the two of us. Not a great sales pitch but there you go, if it might pique your interest I would be interested in offering you a place as a deputy CEO, to help me recruit and build TSR into a hard edged professional unit to take on mercenary PVP work and to perhaps explore and experience the coming level 5 agent mission content.
I would love nothing more than to develop a solid industrial base but donÆt really have the experience or knowledge to do so effectively, if you have skills in this area they would be greatly appreciated.
I will say no more for now, but please feel free to convo/message me if you so desire.
Kind regards SC
Peace through the application of superior firepower

Edited by: Khayos on 06/06/2007 17:57:18 Hi LLeBRing
I wanted the same things you did. A Corp where I can make something of myself in it. Where my time put into it and efforts would be noticed not taken for granted. I wanted a Corp where my individualism and creativeness could be used. I found that corp.
I wanted a Corp which has a structure and goals, set tasks that they want to achieve, not just aimlessly doing stuff at random points; I wanted a calculated direct approach. I found that corp.
I wanted a Corp I would be safe in, that hard work into projects wouldn't be wrecked by a scammer or Corp thief. A Corp where you are judged by you, not your character. I found that corp.
I wanted a Corp where my personality in RL could come through and be shown in game, a Corp where they recognize potential and room for growth and push you to use what you have. Where questions can be asked and answered and where youÆre not a Noob because you asked. I found that corp.
A Corp where RL skills would be useful and could be contributive to what the Corp was doing, where I could be of some value and not have to pretend to be something IÆm not. Where I could do all this and still be valued. I found my corp.
I found a Corp with structure, ranking and the right people. A place to call home, not just a station but also a family to log onto. A place where I look forward to logging on and joining them, just to talk to them all. I log off thinking of what else I can do to help or other ideas I could pass to other teams or sections of the corp. I spend time at work drawing up ideas and templates for Corp Sigs and web pages. Emailing and PMÆing people on the forums about something I thought of the night before and couldn't wait to say.
I found a Corp that would encourage me to push myself to be better. I made goals and they helped me reach them and worked with me on them. I found a Corp that recognized that I wanted to be something in the Corp and let me show them what I could do. A Corp that had like-minded people that all want to be better, know more and strive to be the best at what they do.
If you have ever played other MMOÆs like WoW and the such, then you know as much as I do that there is no cohesion, its about epics and gear and people in your own guild will screw you over for them. Not here, here itÆs about the collective, the bigger picture and the long haul. Here its about whatÆs inside and loyalty, with a game running as long as this and the potential to run for a very long time, all you will have is your name and your word. My friends in my Corp have a good name and good reputation behind them. They play with the same attitudes as myself, they want to expand, get better and enjoy the ride there.
The Corp IÆm in LleBRing is UK Corp!
There is no better a Corp in EvE. Now the fact that I replied means I meet all your requirements as I wouldnÆt have bothered to reply. I wanted to go into recruitment to find players like me, who just need that Corp that will let them be them and help create players. That have room for ideas and thoughts. That like it when you get involved and stuck in and where your efforts are all noticed and in some cases rewarded. UKC is the last Corp I will ever need to join. Its ran like a Corporation, but one of the Corps that your CEO knows all of you, spends time watching and finding out about you and what you have been doing. Where your peers ask you questions and vice versa.
There is just so much I want to say to you but I'm running out of space here. I would love to chat to you in-game. I hope that you find what you are looking for in EvE LLeBRing and I wish for that to be in UKC. I'm sure that we have what you want.
All the best buddy.

Edited by: Vactet on 06/06/2007 18:30:37 Well..call me impressed, the amount of people looking for a "Fun" corp versus those looking for core qualites is amazing. I got a question for you though...what are you looking to do? By that i mean are you looking for an emphasis on production, mining, pvp. Are you looking to be in empire or 0.0? Because without knowing the answers to that, I really cannot offer anything. But I will say this about IMSIL. We have been a core part of two different alliances (300 to 500 member alliances) within a year (The first alliance merged into the second). IMSIL was tasked with providing the overwhelming majority of industrial needs to both of the alliances, and we succeeded. Consider that we only currently have 11-12 actual people and I will let you come to your own conclusion about our seriousness and dedication to the corp when looking at the magnitude of work we usually do.

CRICE Corp is recruiting PVP pod pilots to kick a** and have fun. Our corp has been around for over 3 years and has recently helped form the Vigilance Infinitas alliance. We are one of the premier US Timezone PVP corps in Eve.
Our Corp is recruiting skilled PVPÆers. Preferred pilots should be able to fly T2 ships and there is always a need for more T2 snipers or capital pilots. We require that you be mature and can come on teamspeak with a working mic. We run ops both as a corp as well as an alliance so there is always action to be had.
Our Alliance despite being just over a month old is growing fast and already holds two outposts in 0.0 with more to come shortly. We control systems with high true sec status meaning lots of opportunities for prime rats (including faction and officer spawns), complexes as well as some pretty rocks to mine.

Hi LLeBRing,
First of all, I must say, Wow, to last for four years and not get jaded over it is an accomplishment by itself. And I'm pretty sure you have loads of story to share over a cup of coffee.
Now, I am not really one of those veterans of Eve and nor have I celebrated my first year anniversary either. I wouldn't want to pitch about my corporation to you here because you probably have seen all and heard all. So allow me to cut to the chase. If you feel your interest is piqued to know more of what my corporation does and how you can fit in, contribute or lead, feel free to drop me a mail or catch me online.
I'm sure we can have a good heart to heart talk and we'll proceed from there.
Looking forward to hear from you.

I floated around quite a few different corps hoping to find someplace I fit in.
over 4 years I reckon I was in about 10-15 different corps, until I got headhunted by STK.
I'd have to say that I've enjoyed logging in more now than at any point than I have in my long and illustrious eve career.

Thing that you guys have to remember is that whoever or wherever I go, I don't plan on leaving, so this is a big decision. One that requires a lot of my time and proper planning.

Evening LLeBRing,
I thought a bit of personal info about myself might be useful in your deliberations.
I am 30 years old, and ex-British army (infantry) I have been in Eve for about 4 years or so of continuous play, I have played WoW but I'm clean now so don't hold it against me . I want more from Eve that just ganking afk haulers and noobs, and I know I can be a bit terse on the voice comms when under pvp operations that my old army head making itself know, the old infantry signallers mantra "there are no manners on the net just an order that needs passing damn quick" springs to mind.
Please contact me if you have any queries as I dont like to send cut and paste spam to peoples evemail or threads.
Kind regards SC

Hello LLeBRing, Eve Defence Force is a Military-Industrial Conglomerate meaning that we have a joint emphasis on PvP and Industry. Our belief is that they are inexplicably linked and one cannot exist without the other.
You can read the basics about our structure here but whilst our Industrial side is straight forward, our PvP side is not. Whilst other corporations' members genearlly fly all ships, and decide the ship upon the type of operation they want to undertake, our corporation's PvP side is built around the concept of specialised companies. It follows a blueprint that has had a lot of detailed thought gone into it called the Codex: Legio. Whilst I won't detail it all here (you can read it upon request for an interview), the companies break down like this:
1st Company: Snipers. 2nd Company: Heavy Asualt. 3rd Compamy: Shock Troops. 4th Company: Tactical Company. 5th Company: Scouting and Reconnaissance. 6th Company: Rapid response.
Each company will also have its own logistics and support specialists.
Now we're not there yet but this is what we're building towards and to the best of my knowledge, no one else offers this kind of training path for its PvPers. Companies can either be deployed together or as seperate groups with seperate objectives.
On a wider note, we're very team oritentated and we no longer recruit in large numbers. Rather we like to bring in small groups, get them to know each other and working for each other. The latter is important because we're all part of the same team, whether we're in 0.0 or Empire; whether we're a PvPer, Agent Runner, Ratter or Miner.
I hope this is enough for you to give us some consideration but if it's not, good luck in finding yourself a new home
