Quote: Well as you can see from our kill list. We have taken 32 bs's in just over a week of operations. And in that week we didnt fight maybe 2-3 days at least as well. Losses from mOo are only 3 bs's; but, if you count all from all of our bs's is about 6-7 bs's. So as mOo our kill ratio 10:1 while overall 4:1, and that is just in battleship kills. So...if 70% of your fleet is elsewhere...WHOOPDIDdo!!!!!!!!
Wrong our first kill in Fountain was the Thursday 8th of January. Most didnt come down until the weekend so at most thats only 5 days of activity. Im so picky

Quote: Yes I had Sutty proudly tell me today they killed 12 ships. Turned out half of them were frigates and cruisers. lmao. Our quoted figures rarely include anything other than battleships...
As for Curse, they're quite capable of defending themselves..
That may be because there are no battleships there. You may call it that they are capable of defending themself. But if all those FA guys there only engaged you with frigates there would be no way for you to boast about ship kills either

Obviously But RL has taken too much time. Been online 6 days during the last 5 weeks. Spent 4 of them guarding miners. Spent 2 of them patrolling an empty Catch region. Will have time to play the next days though, so I'm hoping for some action.

I'm wondering, how many ships did m0o have at any one time in Fountain?

I really didn't want to say anything, but I think you guys should move back to Curse.
I know it seemed like a good idea and all to attack Fountain while probably half the FA fleet is away. I understand why you'd do this since it'll allow you to claim victory in a space that doesn't have all it's fighting ships there.
However, since you've run far away from your allies in Curse, they've done rather dismally. You see, if you guys are in Curse, the blob reaches critical mass that it is no longer feasible to fight it and they end up losing no ships. But since the blob is not at critical mass for the past 2 days, they've lost 26 ships. I think we lost 1.
Just FYI.
Impressive considering you spent all night yesterday runnin from us. This must beat Joshes 90 indie kills from a safespot.

Yesterday, CA lost 16 ships. They must have all accidentally self destructed, since ofc all we did was run away.

Lol, this is funny, this will kill you. The only thing that you owed tonight, m0o, was the space outside of the station when the forces were away. You can not expect our forces to be there every second of the day, do you? You sure are not here now. For three days you were attempting to break in to fountainĘs stations systems and you finally did it while everybody was at work on Monday. Woooo. I guess thatĘs the only way you could have done it. Of course it was lag that prevented you from doing earlier, I understand, but until you move in, get some offices, labs and factory space, you are only renting space outside of the station. However, we enjoy and respect your presence. ItĘs been a long time since respectable pirates that donĘt run and log ass soon as they are at a disadvantage were around to fight. But please curb the smack talk. ItĘs getting a little thick after one victory. I thought you guys were little classier then that.
The truth will set you free

Recent News Reports suggest that the infamous pirate, omniwar, was sabotaged by a group of 15 frigates and was forced to warp away, after taking heavy damage. In Other news, Fountain Alliance members sit outside their stations curious as to where the supposed 'm0o' threat is. Recent Intelligence suggests that c0w/m0o all went to confront the ferocious 'frigate fleet.' Supposedly the Mad Cows (Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis) have abandoned yz-lql quite quickly in fear of a larger fleet than they had assumed the fountaineers had possessed...

i must correct you ferocious. there were 3 blackbirds and a caracal and a bunch of frigs. omni warped out with 10% shields because i didnt jump in to the gate, it spawned me at the jip. im happy to announce all cruisers were destroyed and the majority of frigates were destroyed as well, except those that ran.

Is it so hard to take a defeat?
FA says their main force is away but still i see alot of their "PVP defence corp" in the system... Remo Williams , Fer0 , Abominable ... bla bla bla... the list is long, Stop making up excuses and face the facts in the matter. OK perhaps all of you arent here.. you have aprox 1100 members in FA... m0o is what... 20? + a few stray c0w¦s... I hate to trash talk but you really need to get a grip.

it's only a temporary toll that will be in place until we can afford to rent the factories and buy the mins to produce the ammo/drones we will need to ensure a safe/free/open fountain for all
'cause i mean we're so obviously trying to take the ideals of the cfs and build on them
i dunno about you dudes sometimes.

Quote: Just refrain from double counting the battleships as you have done quite a number of times...
And you seriously should show Reverend a picture of a moa, my Vexor looks nothing like it.
If you want your kill list to be taken seriously, make sure it's 100% right. If not we just have to
Im Sure you can appriciate that in the heat of battle one cruiser can be mistaken with another cruser and as for double posts have you considered it may actually be a double kill?
All in all it was a good evening of combat even if we did have to wait for 2 1/2 hours (during this time m0o abd c0w had 17 pilots in space while local numbers averaged 50) then relog 30 mins later.
Even when we engaged the entrenched FA fleet the numbers for us were 17 (including 2 scout's) and FA had in the region of 30 vessels around 5 of which were crusers the rest battleships.
We fought hard for around 35 minutes taking only 1 casualty. In which time FA took several. At this point many of us needed more ammo so we left for a safepoint and shared ammo around. m0o and FA talking in local (mostly things like "gg and respect" until several started smack from both sides).
At which point we decided to re-engage where we took several more FA battleships. At this point we had control of both stations and were picking straderlers at random. After another hour or so I had to log so I could sleep before work.
The sooner CCP sorts it out so the people involved in a kill get a mail similar to the person who dies in combat the better it will stop all theses exagerated claims. We are honest (Stav actually spanks us if we get it wrong) on our kill list anyone who says differently is wrong. All in all a good battle which is what we want. Respect to Fountain for having the balls to fight, see you all againt tonight.
Tib, m0o.

it seems the pirate corps & CA have killed every alliance now, well done to you & it will be boring from now on as no other alliance has any ships left or the will to fight, looks like its mining for you lot :) unless these decimated alliances arent so decimated :) .Courage is fear that has said it's prayers.

"The reports of FA's death are greatly exaggerated"

GG though.
PS: You still have Renba of BIG (Thorax) on your kill list. He did not die, it was a close call, but he survived. Makes me wonder just how many such 'half deaths' are on that list.... Kinda goes hand in hand with the 'FA is dead' thing I guess... BIG Lottery

Edited by: Slam on 13/01/2004 10:16:50 I would like some more details on this affair.
For how long is Fountain to be considered open for outsiders?
In what hours of the day?
Is m0o making guarantees that they will inforce this freedom and do they commit themselves to defending the space at all times?
If I was a neutral party I would be really scheptical of anybody claiming victory and control of a territory because they controlled it for how many days and how many hours each day?
It would be a lot more professional if this announced was made after, say 1 week where the claims had been proven to stand the test of time.

Edited by: FZappa on 13/01/2004 10:49:20 the last several days were alot of fun . had my shields down to 5% in one of the z3 gate fights right after dt , and u guys warped out (phew) . the odds were basicly 1:1 and given our rush to defend the gate , it was a good fight for us . my brother lost a scorp to moo last night, and ive replaced it in 4 hours . i can replace 10 scorpions if i have to , i got the means and fund to,and im not the richest FA member . overall this game has been a bit boring lately , there isnt much left to be done that i havent tried (except maybe being a pirate heh) .
it gets to a point however , that if i undock i will get podkilled before i get to see space. (simply a matter of who logs in after DT faster) as much as im willing to fight given reasonable odds , im not willing to let flawed game mechanics diminish my resources just for your enjoyment .
anyway , thanks for you camping the station i got to go offline eve for a while , and saw 'the return of the king' . cool movie ;)

What not 16 Battleships, I'm dissapointed. Let's cut through the BS here "the corps that is looking to fight people that can fight back" (dixit an evol member" ganked 16 ships mainly indies and cruisers and perhaps one or 2 lone BS, then ran their little asses of once a force of equal size presented itself. That is if the 16 number isn't exagerated to start with.

Just one hint for people logging off in space that could go hostile very quickly.
Equip combat gear and log off in a safe spot. DO NOT DOCK! The reason for this is simple. If it takes very long the first time when loading you will do it at a safe spot away from hostiles. If you get this long time when undocking from the station its possible the hostiles are there. An added nice feature of logging in space in stead of docking is the fact that you can scan the gates and stations for enemies before making a decision, in station you are almost completely blind.

Eh ? I heard 12, 16 and 26 .... all from your guys.
If you kill ships by friendly fire, they are NOT automaticly CA ships. k ?
