with this bob will slow down if not stop
and empire space will become safer than empire
also have you read the bottom of the drawing board? the vicroy system, is basicly a player made concord in your space.
I'm loving these changes
i'd have to agre with you, especially about it slowing us down but i doubt it will detere our desire and will to fight on and remove RAgoonies from 0.0 in the process of claiming their space, heck im looking forward to taking over the farming duties from RA on those nice 10/10's they have
I am also loving the changes especially about it potentially making our home systems safer from people thinking that they can just jump into the hornets nest and attack then expect decent results. Also about the changes that they are making to gallente ships weather or not they are final who knows but the more pwr grid and cpu is a big help for going with a fairly decent setup ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------

Heh. The one thing everything misses about Bob, especially Bob themselves, is how titanically bad it would be for the entire game for them to control all of 0.0. Think of how many people would quit if they didn't have a chance at taking and holding 0.0 space, and Empire was the only thing to do. Think of how many Bob members would quit for that matter if they didn't have anyone to PvP against.
The fun is in the conflict. If the conflict ends, either way, then basically the GAME ends. Pretty much as simple as that. No matter if they're buddy-buddy with BoB or not, CCP can't afford to let BoB control all of Nosec.
And frankly...neither Can BoB.

They've not missed this, they act like asses to get people worked up and fight them, problem being too many ***** out and pay them instead so they try their hardest to humiliate them into fighting them too, problem is some people are just born doormats.

ok, i'm getting a kick in the butt for this.
but PLZ for the love of GOD. stop your damn whining about "BoB will take over eve omgwtfh4x!!elevenone"
ANY person that says that is in my book mentally ******** >_< how the **** do you think BoB can be in EVERY npc region in EVERY system that has stations? they can't bubble up everything. they may or may not be able to hold all non-npc region ingame. but there WILL be resistances everywhere.
ppl will start fighting even harder on EVERY front to get those 'intruders' out of 'their' systems. i for one won't stop fighting to defend my home (unless i've rl issues, hehe). signature removed - please email us to find out why - Jacques([email protected])

Really, people.
Take off the tinfoil headgear and lay the BoB monster to rest. It isn't under the bed, and it isn't going to eat your cat. Non-BoB in EVE still outnumber BoB by something close to 6:1. If the galaxy decided it wanted BoB dead, BoB couldn't stop us. They would run out of ships to fly and places to hide before we would....simple statistics. So can the "BoBoWnZj004LL" crap...it's one turd that doesn't float. They have power because you fear them...take away the fear, take away the power. If the Carebears ever grew spines and rolled out of Empire, BoB would be screwed (let's face it....the little mission-hookers are better equipped than the alliances these days..."Look what I just missioned a week to buy man!!! Use it? Are you NUTS???")
As far as POSes in lowsec, they're extremely easy to kill....namely because the people putting them up never have a clue. (Hint: weapons are the FIRSTthing you put up on the tower, not what you use the leftover grid and cpu on). A good large or a battlestation will crush the life out of anything short of a full dedicated dread fleet (think deep 0.0 alliance or that merc corp that handed you your ass last week.) As far as jump bridges...Meh. Cry me a river. They took their space, they earned their space, they held their space, and by gods, they should be able to move freely around their space. Besides....I'm pretty sure you won't be able to link more than one bridge to a large POS....that means 2 stations in the system with a warp in between to complete the chain. Cyno-dampeners? Has it occured to anyone that the new love being shown to stealth bombers might just actually be for instances such as this, not popping noobs in the belts in their bantams? Just a thought....you know, actual practical warfare application and all....

hmmm ... just make the jumpbridge hackable. maybe through a deployed - stealth but scannable - spy-module or covert ops. after a day or so uŠll get a pass, which works for a short period ... sounds easy but it isnŠt. try to assemble a whole fleet for an attack, when they sit idle a half a day to jump through. this would only work for well planned and serious attacks.

Talking about constellation sov, cyno jammer etc. :
Quote: Man, if THAT isn't a sack of ****. Why is it that every new gizmo we get is 0.0 ONLY or BoB...
I can't see how in any way this favours bob, actually I think they are in trouble.
Sure, it LOOKS as if they have the largest space. But things are a bit more complicated. Most space is 'rented' out to other alliances and BoB only claims ownership. Currently it is not possible for those renting alliances/pets to stand up against BoB. However, after Rev2 it is easy for them to cyno jam their space and just don't let BoB and its capital fleet in. BoB cannot do anything against this.
Furthermore, if you look at BoB controlled space you see that it is far stretched. If you conquer some systems in the middle and set up cyno jammers there you have split them into parts which will make their logistics MUCH more difficult.
And another point: BoB members are not that many compared to their opponents. So the opponents can attack/defend vitals system much better in a 24/7 style and with those cyno jammers BoB cannot jump their titans or their cap fleet to stomp out resistance.
No, I don't think that this favours BoB only, it favours all large alliances because territory warfare will become much more difficult for the attacker and much easier for the defender.
