Posted - 2007.06.11 23:15:00 - [35] I don't think you get to dine in NOL unless you are a part of bob proper, but they may be allowed to serve drinks and take the guests coats, park their ships for them etc. I have worked for them in the summer holidays before, you are not allowed to address them or look them in the eye but they are good tippers.

Just what i got out of it as a pew pew grunt You were only a grunt at the time, but there was more than that.... such as.. when NFC and Sparta Merged in a senseless grab at the stations that IRON was taking (VFK-IV and JU-OWQ) Thinking that IRON would stand by and let them harbor the enemies and not get shot... At the time of this war Sparta was originally on IRON's side, and when the oppurtunity to try and grab some free stations presented itself in NFC offering them the stations via putting the NFC holding corp in their alliance and by default the POS's and the Stations...they then announced themselves "neutral in the war" allowed the NFC corps to join them... and they grabbed at the stations, and came back with air and bloody stumps... Oh, also, Almost nobody in Sparta knew this... but at the time, Sparta High Command hired mercenaries against their own alliance to make IRON look bad because "we had to hire mercs" this was admitted to by the then Sparta Commander KateLice in convo with fotoflame.... so, I guess it goes to show that given the right circumstance... History does indeed repeat itself... Because we've seen all the events with Sparta unfold here... they pull out of the war, their space, suddenly is no longer under attack and now... they seem to have come out of this with a couple of extra stations in Branch... As Seleene already mentioned earlier in this post, the towers in the Branch stations went offline due to D2 not refueling them, so Sparta just used the oppertunity that came along. If not for them im sure someone else would have taken it.
