Go to the systems near stations but not the systems with stations themselfes. 1-3 jumps near station systems often NPCers can be found. Deal the damage type they are not tanking or least tanking and youll take down all but most hardcore tanked ships. Or maybe the ones that can/will run.

Most of the time when some 1 year old pilot sees maybe 3-4 month old guy he wont leave a tasty 3 BS spawn to hide from your (he thinks) basic fitted BC.

Moreover, if his tank is tough but you can avoid his damage by orbiting/nossing/simply tanking damage from his specific rat-type ammo/missles, it takes long for help to arrive even 2 jumps away. They will always keep asking him what yr in, what hes in, how hes holding and etc.

Truth is that even alliance mates or corp mates wont jump and run helping without having clear situation view. Unless ofc its some hardcore pvp alliance/corp that will react fast. But most of alliances/corp takes some time to react. Consider time around 2-3 mins before someone will arrive usually.

Also, dont go straight away into warp, once local increases, check whos the coming pilot. If hes different alliance, you can calm down but not completly. In any case, when someone comes in, pop up scanner, move it aside, and start clicking it each 3-4 secs. Once something appears....see if you can take this out or if you can tank this as well. If not, get out.

If thats inty, odds are, hes forward tackler and you might end up being scrambled from 20km just to keep you in place. So here choise is only yours, but if your attacking say a EM torp Raven and the helper is in a...Vexor? See if Vexor does any damage, if yes, kill him while holding BS down, then take down BS.
