Are there currently Faction spawns in L3/4 missions (>= 0.5) or not? I know there used to be some, then they were removed, then it was announced that they would be back ...

I don't know if they are faction or not but there are a few named guys like Xevni Jipon. They are a little bit harder to kill and have bigger bounties. Jipon is the bigest one I have seen with about 2.4M bounty. They don't drop any faction/officer loot though, just pay a little bit more. |

I have had faction spawns in World Collide, lvl 1 and 4 in high sec.

Had one 2 weeks ago. Low-grade imp, shield booster and tag. Lvl3 Blockade, didn't even recognize... noticed while salvaging. :)

I am not entirely sure this is accurate, I killed a named guy in a mission other day and got a Dark Blood Thermic plating off him. It's the first faction piece I have gotten in a mission, but I think there is a rare chance to drop.

Was that by chance Uleen Bloodsworn in the lvl 3 important storyline mission 'A Force To Be Reckoned With'? She drops DB stuff all the time. It's easily the best non-COSMOS mission in the game for reward vs effort. Unfortunately it's also pretty rare to get.
As for the Blockade lvl 3 I was hoping that somebody would say they've seen a faction spawn. I knew it was possible in the lvl 4 versions, but have never seen one in the several dozen lvl 3 Blockades I've done.

Level 4 Worlds Collide seems to be the most frequent faction spawn for non-storyline missions. I've had two reports in the past month of corp-mates getting a faction (Shadow Serpentis) BS and receiving decent loot drops from the wreck.
I've only run this mission once recently and did not get a faction spawn, which is consistent with reports received from other players. So it appears to be chance-based, unless there's some trigger involved that has yet to be confirmed.
The Blockade lvl 4 has yet to produce a faction spawn for me, and I've seen no confirmed reports of such occurring, which may simply mean Jack.
Xevni is not a faction spawn - just the Boss - so no faction drops from them.
(All information above occurred in 0.8sec systems and above).

I've picked up some Domination stuff in L 3 missions, but unfortunatley I cannot remember which missions. All I know is that when I was sorting through my loot, I found that I had a Domination Stasis Webifier and a Domination Shield Boost Amplifier.

There's one lvl3 storyline mission against bloods (can't remember the name) that ends with a fight against a miniboss in a scrambling punisher (Uleen Bloodsworn) who occasionally drops faction loot. I haven't found faction items in any other missions.

*Worlds Collide Lev4 - in the Serpentis base usually has that 3.75M faction dude that pounds my shields and drops decent Shadow Serp goods.
*Gurista Extravaganza Lev4 - bonus room (6th one), need a Gurista Diamond Tag to get into, has a low percentage chance to have faction loot in the structure that is in the last stage.
*Angel Extravaganza - same as above but needs the Angel Diamond Tag to get into it.
Best I can tell, those are the only level 4 missions with faction drops.

I had one in a ridiculously easy lvl 3 storlyine mission yesterday called "A Force To Be Reckoned With" The ship called Uleen Bloodsworn dropped a Dark Blood passive hardener (which is pretty good considering its a frigate)
you can food anything if you just eat it. (yes food is a verb) |
