Kai Lei Insidious Existence Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate	Posted - 2007.06.23 21:42:00 - [121] Besides all of this nonesense that people like to discuss, the war was quite fun. A few of the good moments I had during the fight were when Jim Lovell and another one of our Domi pilots were trapped inside Jita 4-4 station by one of their sleipnirs. We brought in reinforcements to take out the hostile who was besiegeing the station. He was summarily punished by death. I can not forget to mention the 1v1 duel between Tyrrax and Iron Maiden in abaddons. I'm sure you can guess who won that fight (go tyrrax!) If there is any corp who gets a future war dec from them, do not fear. They have no strategic merit, their actions are very predictable and their fighting skills are quite lacking. I'll gladly be ready to fight 505 again any day if they decide to re-dec our alliance.

Nope, actually just recounting a good event. There was also another fight where we were outnumbered 3 - 6 and we took out a mega and myrmidon before we got wiped. It was fun risking it all against them.

Kai Lai; if i wanted to brag about winning a duel with an empire pirate I could do so myself iron maiden, your setup was horrible apart from the high slots, trust me it was not even remotely close, and I'm surprised you claim it was since you couldn't see my setup or how many cap booster 800 I had left afterwards.. (wtf at energized membranes and a sensor booster for a BS duel btw) Anyways, I think those of us who were there to fight (on both sides) had fun, I'm disappointed it's over so soon, I only just moved to empire. We simple gave up after a few days. You cant fight an enemy that wont fight if it doesn't believe it can win. Privateers did the same, they never fought if they thought they'd lose. Thats why I personally dislike most empire wars, its all one sided. It was fun though pop'ing the sleipnir at jita 4-4 and the vaga & crow in amarr (and myrmidon 2 jumps from amarr). But not even getting a GF in local. Seriously though, a vaga and crow dieing to a myrmidon?!?
Marsha11 Save our Souls	Posted - 2007.06.27 15:26:00 - [140] It was my Sleipnir in Jita and was a well sprung trap, you do however forget to mention that before you killed me i had already killed 3 IAC bs's and numerous other small ships... Isk wise i came out on top, and that Sleipnir had been killing 3 months without dying before hand, i got my monies worth (You actually did me a favour by making me fly something different, i needed a change tbh) Then there was my Vagabond which died to the big man himself Tyraxx... I had literally been out of bed 3 minutes and it was half 5 in the morning. I think thats why i didn't hear the 'missed jam' call on Vent from my mate in a Scorpion and next time i went for a bump i got a web and about 300 heavy neuts on me But i had fun and i have alot of respect for the pilots who fought, its a shame that this thread has pretty much turned into 5 pages of smack because through out both the Frege and IAC wars i have had a blast and this just puts a bit of a downer on the situation. EVE is a game, games are meant to be fun, i have been having fun, therefore i see no reason to return the smack as i have no grudge to voice So see you in space, good luck to our current targets and much love to our old ones x End

I guess they need to keep the torps flowing to their rat farming ravens in 0.0.
