Do we not all say things that we regret? Trust people we maybe should not have? The answer to those questions is yes. Everyone has said stuff in local that could have been bannable. Some of us have even sent nasty evemails to those who have killed our ships and popped our pods. I think some mercy has to shown in this case given the underlying circumstances. Miz rooked October Snow for billions of isk; understandably, most, if not all players would have been extremely upset at such a corporate theft. Some of my mates have been killed by October Snow, but that does not mean I want Ginger permanently banned because he let his emotions get the best of him. I ask for the Eve community to rise up and ask that Ginger be reinstated. Remember, we are all human and sometimes succumb to the heat of the moment - especially when we are scammed by corp mates. Four years of character building should not come down to a unfortunate statement made in local.

Love him or hate him, Ginger is an important member of the Eve community who made an unfortunate mistake. I am a strong believer in mercy when it comes to a situation like this.

Is that frakin' right! I think people need to put their unbridled jealousy of Ginger aside and instead look at the facts of this particular case. Everyone knows that the Kleptos have a serious axe to grind with him. Mercy needs to be practicied here for an individual who has put four years of hardwork into the building of a character. Is it right to revel in his situation simply because so many of us have lost ships to him? Losing ships is part of the game. Ginger never scammed anyone as far as I know. Miz is the biggest scammer in the entire game. Should that be a part of gaming dynamics? There needs to be some fairplay here shown by CCP. If anyone should be punished, it should be the dishonorable scammers that make Eve more like the Eastend than anything else!

So many of the anti-Ginger posts just disgust the hell out of me. A lot of you people make me sick to my stomach.
