For this reason, I decided to do a little research on this subject to see if the arguments made on this forum to convert EVE into a more Hello Kitty Online-type game had any merit. The Hello Kitty franchise comes from a Japanese company called Sanrio which started in 1960. Sanrio had net sales of 80 billion yen or 650 million dollars last year (link). Sanrio's President and CEO is Mr. Shintaro Tsuji. A few lines of Mr. Tsuji's message on the Sanrio website are listed below.
