This is the generic mail about the BoB BBQ Invitational
First of all... Welcome! If you have not yet sent me arrival time and arrival place, please do so now. The Invitational is on the 20-21st of July.
Pickups will be arranged from Hvalso, and Copenhagen, depending on all your arrival times, different times will be scheduled.
The fee for this, is 30 EURO, and will be paid on pickup, DKK can also be used and a conversion to DKK will be arrranged.
When you send the mail to me with arrival times, pls include the following;
Nickname
Corporation
Alliance
Arrival time
Arrival day
Arrival place (airport or hvalso train station)
For those who are driving yourselves, details are as follows (please note, i still need a mail from you confirming where and when)

What you need to bring;
Sleeping bag/bed linen
Clothes
Personal effect
Due to the sheer number of people coming, we cannot tell what kind of sleeping arrangement you will have. There will be sofas, beds, tents, floors, bushes, you name it, expect to rough it.
All in all, we have both ingame friends, and ingame foes coming, i expect everyone to leave all warmongering at the door, and have a good time. Beers will be a plenty, food will be aplenty, and the goal is to have a very good time and meet people form all over the world.

Will it be possible just to pop by without paying the 30Ç (which we all know goes to the fund for more BOB titans  )? I live pretty close to Hvals° :)

Rail is slow and expensive, or when reasonably priced, even slower, because you have to travel across several countries / cities you don't really have a desire to visit.

that's what you have friends for, so that they can give you money to go to the BBQ and you can give them money back later, although the last part should be seen as optional depending if you want to keep them.

Dear allies, friends and - well, hi BoB!?!
I arrived at the site of the BoB blob... ehm... BBQ in the late afternoon of a very hot day. The sun was high on the sky. Sneakily, I left my weapon behind as I entered on my initial run past the gatecamp, which was lead by FC Lacrimae.
Having spotted a few potential high-ranking targets, I returned to my vehicle, armed my gun and returned ready for a suicide attack - when going up against BoB, remember to expect large guns...
My cloak must have worked perfectly, because my first hit was a perfect headshot incapacitating Sir Molle. Now, if the members of Goonfleet and AAA had just been faster in their responsetime!?! Well, at least I got some nice cheers and GF in local, as I recloaked and figured I would go for smaller targets in my rather flimsy white skirt... ehm... STILETTO! STILETTO, I say!
Outside the main system I found an unsuspecting Ysabelle.... and wham, a perfect shot! Yes! One BoB down! If I was to be ganked now, I would still be able to call my mission a succes.
Recloaking, circling my prey, I realized that they did check local, but was sure I was almost harmless. Sure, they knew by now it was just a Stiletto and that my ammo would run out before I could actually damage the capital ships... but did they count on treason and betrayal by their own? Surely not!
Ysabelle went to me, offering assistance. Gladly, I handed over my weapons, but she had to replenish the ammo herself, as I was low on water... ehm... EMP S! And grinning head to toe, she returned, having gotten a few good shots off.
Then... I found a few hapless victims - some even begged to be shot? What? One came to me several times begging to be podded?? Was I actually doing them a favour? I decided to take on the only really armed guy in the system - knowing that this attack was not likely to go well, as his blastercannon... ehm... waterhose .... was kind of out of my leaky range, as to dps.
I barely escaped in structure, but I had not surrendered and I was still lurking...
Then... they started luring me. Promising foodstuff. I resisted for a while. But then, it was too much, too yummy... and despite the lagissues, all got fed and watered. Forming up a gang with members of Collective and x13 - and even a random Goonie - I spent the rest of the evening in safety without firing a single shot and left during early morning downtime.
Thank you for a fun afternoon/evening/night - and for being generally good sports. Too bad I don't get killmails for my watergun attacks

I was there and must say that this was really really fun. Nice to meet all these diffenrent ppl..
Amazed to see ppl from UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway and ofcourse FINLAND!!!.... Speedie, Koule, Lacco & Lachesis... You guys rock!!! :)
Hope to see many off those pictures taken by everyone :)
If invited I will defently be there next year :)

Just left the BOB BBQ, and I'm sat in an internet cafe in Copenhagen with some of the guys. I'm sunburnt, hung over (although not as bad as Pardux) and it's been a blast; meeting all the famous names and putting faces too them finally.
Thanks to Molle for playing host, Lacrimae for mugging everyone of their money, and of course everyone I spent the day talking too.
Here's to next year!

A HUGE thank you to Molle and everyone else at the BBQ, especially Lacrimae, the Finnish guys and the person who I unfortunately forgot the name of, who helped me get to the campsite and back when my wallet was pickpocketed at the Copenhagen central station! 
(Yes, I petitioned the loss, but the GMspolice said there weren't any logs)
The BBQ was a blast, I had tons of fun! I'll definitely go back next year if I have the chance. If for no other reason, to claim Ysabelle that I rightfully won at the poker table.
