Friday the 20th of July, you are cordially invited over to our BBQ evening. We have rented a huge campsite, and, will be having laughs the whole day and the whole evening, not to mention the beers, and the food. The Chef for all this, will be yours truly; Me. Don't miss your chance to be served by the crazy swede. So, pack your bags, bring some sleeping gear, we'll provide the bed/floors/bush for you to sleep in/at. Roughly 100 BoBbits and some extra invited people will be there to great you. Food will be a plenty, and beers will never run out. Pickups will be arranged from Central Copenhagen in Denmark, at set times. To make life easy on everyone, we'll have a set fee for those coming of 30 EURO which will include food and beers. So, details... When? 20th of July til 21st of July Where? Denmark, Copenhagen (Hvalso, about 40 minutes in car from copenhagen) Why? Because we would love to meet you. How? Bring sleeping gear, bring a pillow, put on a smile, and meet all the bobbers in a totally different environment. Cost? Yes, 30 EURO for the food, beers, and the pickup/dropoff, as well as some kind of sleeping accomodation. After you have decided you want to come, drop a note to [email protected], and state nick, corp, alliance, so that we can prep all the nametags. All BoB CEO's will be present, as well as some other very high profile names, get your shot at beating TWD at the poker table, or *****ing at the crappy chef. BBQ in the late afternoon of a very hot day. The sun was high on the sky. Sneakily, I left my weapon behind as I entered on my initial run past the gatecamp, which was lead by FC Lacrimae. Having spotted a few potential high-ranking targets, I returned to my vehicle, armed my gun and returned ready for a suicide attack - when going up against BoB, remember to expect large guns... My cloak must have worked perfectly, because my first hit was a perfect headshot incapacitating Sir Molle. Now, if the members of Goonfleet and AAA had just been faster in their responsetime!?! Well, at least I got some nice cheers and GF in local, as I recloaked and figured I would go for smaller targets in my rather flimsy white skirt... ehm... STILETTO! STILETTO, I say! Outside the main system I found an unsuspecting Ysabelle.... and wham, a perfect shot! Yes! One BoB down! If I was to be ganked now, I would still be able to call my mission a succes. Recloaking, circling my prey, I realized that they did check local, but was sure I was almost harmless. Sure, they knew by now it was just a Stiletto and that my ammo would run out before I could actually damage the capital ships... but did they count on treason and betrayal by their own? Surely not! Ysabelle went to me, offering assistance. Gladly, I handed over my weapons, but she had to replenish the ammo herself, as I was low on water... ehm... EMP S! And grinning head to toe, she returned, having gotten a few good shots off. Then... I found a few hapless victims - some even begged to be shot? What? One came to me several times begging to be podded?? Was I actually doing them a favour? I decided to take on the only really armed guy in the system - knowing that this attack was not likely to go well, as his blastercannon... ehm... waterhose .... was kind of out of my leaky range, as to dps. I barely escaped in structure, but I had not surrendered and I was still lurking... Then... they started luring me. Promising foodstuff. I resisted for a while. But then, it was too much, too yummy... and despite the lagissues, all got fed and watered. Forming up a gang with members of Collective and x13 - and even a random Goonie - I spent the rest of the evening in safety without firing a single shot and left during early morning downtime. Thank you for a fun afternoon/evening/night - and for being generally good sports. (Yes, I petitioned the loss, but the ~~GMs~~police said there weren't any logs) The BBQ was a blast, I had tons of fun! I'll definitely go back next year if I have the chance. Started off puffing a bit too much within the first hour of my arrival (I had the utterly stupid impression that it was a good idea to smoke a joint on my way there, as a warmup), and I decided to keep up the steam later on, so I ended up seing things from time to time, although always with a smile on my face I think. Especially at the bonfire, that was goddamn scary, for some strange reason the bonfire was HUGE, it covered everyone. Seriously, I still dont know what happened and what didn't. I ended up asleep (or half unconscious) face down on a table with my jacket over my head somewhere around midnight (plus/minus 2 hours ) and I woke up at 3 or 4 a.m. (or so, around 3 hours before I had to be at work), with 1000 mosquito-bites absolutely EVERYWHERE on my body, and it was bright enough for me to start walking to the train-station. And ofcourse it started raining 5 minutes after I left the damn place and I was completely soaked when I arrived at the train-station . Of what I recall: Steaks were great, but Molle needs to train speed-BBQing lvl 5. Learned how to play poker Still suck at it though. I should probably note that it wasn't a dope-party or anything like that, that's just me and my habits, most ppl were "just" drinking heavily. And jeez it was a weird workshift for me that day (I work at a brewery ) This is my signature-space. I wonder if I should actually put something in here. It's not like I post on the forums alot nor do I actually care what people think of what I write in here.

The food was great, and those spareribs were really tasty. Thank you to the Germans of BNC for showing me what Korn&Coke is. And thanks to everyone else for lots of fun EVE talk. I'm glad that I managed to steer clear of any dreadnaught losses in poker. It was great to see all the ingame fighting left at home and to see people from BoB, allies and enemies having fun together.
