I'm new here (16 days in game) and just recently found out about the "one man alt" corps inspired by CCP not allowing people in NPC corps to post on CAOD. This is utterly ridiculous, why even have this rule if it's so easy to circumvent? And also I'm kind of ticked off that I'm a paying subscriber who can't post in the CAOD forum because I've not yet joined a player corp! Do the goings on there not directly effect the world I live in? I pay my monthly fees yet I am not allowed to speak my voice?!?! Why would anyone in their right mind make a rule to force me to create a "one man alt" corp to post in that forum?

you mean you dont have access to the recruiting section? If not then maybe you should petition that since it makes no sense to not allow potential recruits access to the area where they could get scooped up. I never got on the forums until after I was in a corp so I can't confirm that this is true:/

I'm not talking about the recruitment section, I'm talking about the CAOD (Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions) forum. You're not allowed to post in that forum as a member of an NPC corporation.

The CAOD is a political forum, it's all about corp relations and alliance relations. Because of that, they don't want anonymous alts spouting allegations that can't be backed up.
The whole idea of that forum thread is to represent your corp and alliance. As you are part of an NPC corp, you cannot represent it and hence cannot post.
Don't whine about it and accept it. Your freedom of speech is not threatened by it as you can easily post in the other forums.

This is not a "whine" first off. And secondly, my point is I CAN post there simply by making an alt and forming some crap one person corporation. So this rule doesnt stop anyone from posting there.
And why every time someone comments about something they thing makes no sense, or tries to bring about change someone calls it a "whine"? So unless you mindlessly follow the masses and keep silent, you are a whiner. Brilliant.

Make your own corp. You can then pontificate at length about anything you want on CAOD.

haha, I know, but that's my point. Why even have the rule if it just brings about ten thousand one person corps created solely for the purpose of posting in that forum?

Well mainly "Because CCP Said So", which is the reason given for a lot of things. It's in that EULA thingy that nobody ever reads, where basically "Whatever we say goes, whenever we say it".

Being in an NPC corp you do not speak for you Corporation, Alliance, or Orginization why should you be allowed to post there?

Well the fact is , your in an NPC corp and as someone else pointed out...that forum is for corp's and alliance chatter, neither of which your a member off.......going by your argument i could say that iv been a paying subscriber for a while and im not aloud to post as a mod/dev but where would the logic be in that?
You say your a 16 days old char......and your already complaining.....dude you REALLY need to harden up a little....as there are gonna be many things in this game that are seen as unfair....but like the rest of us, your gonna have to learn to deal with them.

But you are wrong, I CAN post there. I guess you don't see my point of how ridiculous it is to force me to create a Corporation for the sole purpose of posting in that forum. And if noone "complained" about anything then nothing would ever change...Not saying that anything will change from the complaining either though..

Also, I looked at your last 15 posts, and I could probably insert the quote above into at least half of them. Be it the thread with you complaining about the maestro card, or the one complaining about paying for Eve Voice, or the one where you're crying about CCP not giving miners any love...So what makes you want to come to this thread and give ME **** about complaining?!?! Quite hypocritical
