Edited by: Rahelia on 20/06/2007 21:00:12 DOTA, are you getting the black login screen (after the splash screen), or are you getting no login screen at all after that? Two different issues... not sure which one you have.
If you DO have the black login screen, check to see if that line in the registry was 100% correct. C:\Windows\Fonts is case sensitive - just to making sure you didn't overlook that.
Grats Xariouz! Any other confirmed results of this working? So far, Xariouz, presumably the person from the other thread, and myself... any more?

Edited by: Rahelia on 20/06/2007 21:28:52 Try this guy's advice first: Link
If you're feeling adventurous: 1.) Back up your cache and settings (if you desire) 2.) Uninstall EVE 3.) Delete the EVE cache & settings folders (C:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\ccp\eve) 4.) Reinstall EVE 5.) Patch from autopatcher or the site. 6.) ???? 7.) Profit.
Tell me if this works, maybe you have too much stuff if your cache.
Also try doing those step as Administrator -> Right click the installer (and patch) and click "Run as Administrator." Same with the shortcut to the game.

Originally by: DOTA My font's part is already there so I can't add it.
The splash screen comes up and then nothing.
Well, then I feel really sorry for you. You tried alot of other stuff to fix the problem?
