Hey All
Recently a friend of ours had both his accounts breached somehow and lost around 5bil in isk. After reporting the issue to the GMs both his accounts have been suspended while the investigation happens.
It has now been 3 weeks and has only had 1 e-mail saying that its been escalated. This was only received, coincidently, after alot of friends e-mailed Kieron direct asking what was been done about this. No other information has been passed on at all. He cannot get any information either until the new GM responds to him.
I am posting this on his behalf as he cannot get access to the forums to post anything and raise this issue. Hopefully someone within CCP may read this and pass further information on to him. A simple e-mail to say who is looking at it, what stage its at, eta for him getting his accounts back would be nice.
Please keep any responses clean. Yes something happened, his accounts were breached, whats happened has happened. I am simply asking for people to stand by someone in the community who has played for a long time and post something constructive in the hope that his problem is given some attention.

Many thanks for the positive replies all. We miss our big hair monster and want him back in game :(
I do understand that there could be a lengthy trail of breadcumbs to follow if the isk has been transferred from pillar to post but not informing customers as to what is currently going on is just bad business.
Hopefully he will be back soon, with isk, then he can buy me some ships as im now broke :(

The mushroom quote has been around years and years. I remember if from been a kid so thats a good 20 years old. I think you will find its probably been around alot longer than that too, so the quote definately didnt originate in said movie. Im afraid he didnt steal the quote from the movie your on about. The quote itself can be altered to fit the situation it needs to be used in so there is no right / wrong permutation of it. The flexibility and dynamic use of the english language is great isnt it?
