Sure you're fitting 2 of the highs but you have 100 cpu left there's 3 high slots left, and using that silly implant WHICH NOONE ELSE HAS TO USE even if it did exist, a drone control uses 75 cpu, then there's 25 cpu left another thing people fit is a smartbomb, a faction smartbomb takes 60 cpu (after skills), now there's 40 cpu left. What else are you going to fit? Shield mods take silly amounts of cpu and our ship's fittings don't make up for them. I need 3 dread guristas specific hardeners for my setup, they're cheap but they only allow me to fit 1 capital shield xfer, I have 5 cpu remaining and 380,0000 grid.

The only CPU implants reduce either turret or missile launcher CPU needs, none of which boost overall CPU or are useful for carriers.

(let alone alot of their ships) are very very tight CPU wise... the problem is with cap shield xfers.... that very thin line is broken FIX either the chimera or fix the shield XFER!!

I can fit a decent shield tank but when I do I can't use capital shield transporters(not even 1). Which means lack of ECCM, OR PDU, OR Damage control. Combined with the fact we use more cap than armor tankers, leaves us with a relatively good tank, with no other purpose. However amarr can fit dual (or sometimes triple) reppers, sustain it, and use their med slots for cap rechagers, aswell as some lows for cap relays, thus making sure their tank is superior. Meanwhile can use meds for tackling gear, sensor boosters, and ECCM. We arent trying to make every race the same, nor denying other carriers dont have issues (although the archon and thanatos really really dont...) Archon can tank + remote rep + deal dps Thanatos can tank + remote rep + deal dps Nidhogger can tank + remote rep + deal dps Chimera can tank + deal dps Be fair...

Percentages of grid and cpu used by only the active tanking gear, which is capital shield booster and shield boost amp II for shield tank and 2 capital armor repairers for armor tank. Chimera, shield tank.cpu used: 35.65%. grid used: 13.33% Nidhoggur, shield tank.cpu used: 40.57%. grid used: 10.43% Nidhoggur, armor tank.cpu used: 17.14%. grid used: 34.78% Archon, armor tank.cpu used: 19.2%. grid used: 25.81% Thanatos, armor tank.cpu used: 16.55%. grid used: 28.57% Both the chimera and Nidhoggur shield tank have greater restrictions then any armor tanked capital, only armor tanked nid comes close in percentage of grid used just for the reppers. However Nidhoggur has a range bonus on capital remote armor repairers so can still use those in combination with shield tank(but it's very unlikely to use capital shield transporters with a shield tank), but chimera is limited to shield transporters and capital energy transfers which both have relatively high cpu use.
