Patch is not available yet and the server is not accepting connections. Claims to the otherwise are suspect.

As far as people not knowing when DT would be in their local times, I dunno about them. But, I was training short skills all day until the last short skill completed a half hour before DT. Then, I started Drones 5.
Also, I was in the Help channel recommending that folks set at least a 48-hour skill. Although, a mod did get on me for answering other people's questions with a copy/paste reply. ): (I'm not discussing moderation, just saying I was made to feel like I did something wrong when I didn't.)
Anyway, I'm off to watch anime that I let pile up just for today.

i was downloading the patch for about a minute then it stopped. any now it says not compatible, so i downloaded the client again and now it just i not avaible for connection

you have to love patch day really. Everyone who cant be arsed to read the forums suddenly all pile on and start whining about times, content where there 15 dollars went etc etc etc.
Guys its been posted for at least 2 weeks, the test server has been running, alll the information is out there.

I have checked. The installed folder is definitely "EVE" and not "EVE Online" on my machine.
