Seems your poor servers are getting hammered. Usually I can get ~150 Kb/s. Now I am getting ~50 Kb/s (and that is only after slowly creeping up from 20).
I do have a technical question Chribba. Not sure this is the venue for it but eh...you're here.
A number of times in the past when downloading something from you the download will freeze. The download window is still there and showing as active but no new data comes in...just freezes sort of. Freeze may not be the best word...the download window looks just as it should and at first glance looks like it is working merrily along and buttons can be pushed and all...just no new data...sorta spins its wheels.
I only notice this on larger downloads and wonder what you think the issue might be?
No idea, but might be connectivity issues when it comes to large files and/if packets get dropped when the bw is high. Try use a download manager others said that helped them. But will see if I can tweak something on my end as well.

I refuse others to mirror? I'd be more than happy if people wanted to become mirrors, however not all pilots right and left want to give away 100's GB of HDD and unlimited 100MBit+ connections without nothing in return but the 'thank you'- of a community.
Sure if you have that I'd be happy to add that machine into the mirror-park.

ouh i wrote to the email on eve-files.com and offered a mirror with unlimited bandwith 100Mbit/s (if needed 2x 100) located in germany with as many storage as needed. And im sure it will hold up to at least 1 year of service, and i want nothing in return :) Maybe we can discuss this ingame after the dt or you look for my mail ;-)
I recall talking about servers in Germany, don't recall what happened after that though. My apologies if I was due to get back to you and did not, will certainly have another chat with you shortly about it again then, thank you for enlighting me.
