Dont suppose theres a chance we could get the old trailers redone at 1920x1080p as well and perhaps them all redone when the new graphics engine comes out as well

I have to agree with some other people here that CCP needs to release lower resolution videos as well (like earlier vids) as we all dont have up to date computers. I and few in my corp had problems as well watching it without the frame jerking (for some reason winamp was able to atleast stop the audio jerking, but video still seemed to stutter).
Sempron 2800+ here (1.6ghz).

Very nicely put together, loved the execution. I'm a man for subtley and deliverance really.
Damn the nay sayers wanting more pew pew, we've had plenty of videos like that, let's have something majestic : )
Only issue I'm having is the latest few eve trailers aren't running properly on my pc (codec problems), I actually went to the effort of re-rendering this in 1280x720 wmv 9 with Sony Vegas just to stop the frame dropping and lag spikes watching it : (
Any suggestions guys?

It broke my media players. Only time that a video has played to a certain time and then, when clicking that exact time, the video jumps forward 15 seconds. Plus, either the video finishes early, or the audio does that trick on the next playthrough; one of these days, I'll get them both to finish at the same time.
From what I can see, it looks good, and I think I saw Minmatar and Amarr on one side, and Gallente and Caldari on the other. (At least, I saw some Myrms and a Drake together.)

Downloaded it but only audio works fine, video is lagging worse than a fleet fight with every player that I tried it with (WMP, VLC, ZoomP).

Go here and download VLC, it's free and it can play pretty much anything you drop there, even if you don't bother to even rename the default.asp file :)

nice trailer (maybe lacks pew pew) but what really bugged me, was that the premise was totally wrong. People did not look to the sky and sya, i belong with the gods, they looked at the sky, and begged the gods to be nice with them, make sure their crops grow, and dont let their minions starve to death...
other than that, quite atmospheric.

Wow, Just WOW.. 
This is the most awesome trailer I've seen for a game ever. No messy battles, no messy blur. Just pure well rendered GFX goodness and an awesome speech, love the endin.. err.. Revelation in the end.

I'm amazed. There have been so many of these comments thus far. Zond - do not listen to these people. I thought EVE was meant for the more mature players that can see through a StevenSegalesque waste of time. Zond has produced a vid that's a little more then explosions, he's gone for mood. Remember - it's meant to build the story for factional warfare.
In my opinion, it's fantastic storytelling and he has done a great job. Very atmospheric and the ending is absolutely awesome. Yes, it's not like a real EVE battle - but it's a trailer. It's cinematic.

the larger of the trailers doesnt play well at all in my vnc or media player, sticks/pauses the video at some points and the audio remains normal.
The resolution down plays perfectly fine.
Nice trailer so far, nice to see some real eve action, ie: everything moving slowly and normally, there is/was a fad of having everything mwding about liek mad things on some previous trailers.
And agreed, an epic build up at the end, good stuff.

I can't help but feel that those people who are asking for more "pew pew zomg" are really missing the point of this trailer.

Winamp is a great music player but is notorious for
stuttering on some video, especially hi-res vids. winamp's video codecs aren't up to snuff imo..
you should use VideoLan Client (VLC) or
Media Player Classic (MPC) for all your video
viewing needs..
VLC is an outstanding player that comes with its own
codecs (and comes in multiple platform flavours as well)
MPC mostly uses whatever is already installed on your system.
MPC comes standalone or packaged with the outstanding K-Lite codec pack which has just about every codec you'll ever need. (depending which size you dl)
-i use both.
Both can be downloaded from http://free-codecs.com/
-one stop shopping for all your codec needs.
while your at free-codecs.com, get yourself an education. they have some pretty decent guides and forums there that will get you up to snuff on all you
need to know to make an informed decision on this matter.

Try VLC first, overall it's less intrusive system wise, plus i think you'll be quite happy with it.
lastly,
-as always, -make sure you run system restore
and make a restore point before you attempt to
install ANY new codecs or players.
-just in case you have software installed on
your system that doesn't agree with either of these
players. you'll save yourself allot of headaches.
-remember this simple rule:
"cover yourself, cover yourself, cover yourself" :)

awesome trailer - really. although the end is not very realistic at all (normally there are just a bunch of ships with tons of lag and a titan that DDs a bit and causes even more lag after that :)) and it have had some sort of camera shake - especially in parts there the titans passed by and the fighters crossed the view - it creates a really impressive mood and reflects a story typical to mankind. see it from another point of view - not eve related - and it plays out its true potential of showing what we really are and what we always did in the past and will do in the future of our human history. i think this is the most impressive part of this trailer - just packed into the hull of the dark eve universe which is a good place for that to show :)
again - more of that :) i love those ones!!!
