A vixen. And yes, I'm a "pet" at times. 
The other choice would be a cat. I'm cute and cuddly and will curl up against those I like, but catch me at a bad mood and I'll claw your arm off. Stroke me the right way and I'll purr. 
As for KIA, I'd say... a bunch of rabid meerkats.
