I was about to abandon this thread since it degenerated to BoB fanboi/haters discussion forum what we will and wont be able to do. But since you made this nice post, that predicted the fact that we will conquer all 0.0, and BOB (alliance) will be nerfed, and had the intelligence to put Privateers in the same sentence, I had to reply.
First: How in the name of god, can you compare a alliance which griefs in empire, all noobs/alliance noobs/noob alliances/noob corps to Band of Brothers?? (The alliance which I am talking here is Privateers, who "exploited" warfee mechanic of the game, and the mechanic was changed so that it couldnt be exploited anymore)
Second: How in the name of god do you think they would be able to nerf something that is just as any other alliance in game, without actually nerfing everysingle alliance in game in the process.
Third: If they would do a nerf that nerfs BoB in particular, how do you think that would be done, since I cannot see a 1 way to do it, so that it would only affect Band of Brothers.
Just my 10Ścents.
I'm not sure if you mistook my post for more than it was meant to be.
There was no irony in my post... I would like to see BoB completely over run 0.0 I would.
And my Privateer compliant was actually a jab at CCP not BoB, or you... I am sorry if you think it is, I just meant that when ever a player group is gaining an advantage or having fun doing what they do, CCP goes neuf-tastic and aligns with all the screaming players and caves.
It was a throw away statement, I would carm down if I where you, but think of it this way if BoB did have control over a large percentage of 0.0 (I am talking 80-90% f regions), would CCP be happy if it was effecting the game mechanics / player experience.
