So, I got When World's Collide (angel vs sansha, lvl 4) from my agent. Was happy to see they didn't remove the harder lvl 4s, or so I thought. Anyway, I warp into the first pocket, and to my surprise the Angel fleet does not engage me right away, and seeing how they sit well outside my 90 km lock range, I have to fly towards them to get a lock. Having done that I start shooting at the frigates, and then I realise they are no longer moving towards me at some point, seems at 60km they just give up and return to their spawnpoint. They are still firing at me, but I'm well outside the range of their guns and the missile alone hardly dent the shields of my armor tanking Nightmare... The last two battleship have now moved back so far that I loose lock and I say 'to hell with it' and decide to just warp to the second pocket. Unfortunately, despite the mission briefing still stating that the gates are unlocked I now get the message that I can't use the gates while there are enemy ships around, sigh... So I kill the two remaining Angel battleships, and after the first one I get a nice green message in chat saying the Cartel gate is now unlocked. I try to activate the gate, but still no go, enemy ships yadda yadda. So I move towards the Sansha fleet to get them into targetting range, they also turn around at 60km. After one particulair battleship kill I get a green message saying Sansa gate is unlocked, didn't bother to check, killed them all and was now able to use the Cartel gate. Yay. 2nd pocket seemed at first glance the same as always, and then I realised that all the battleships are sub 400k bounty versions, no more saints or seraphims. Quite a bit easier, quite a bit less profitable as well. There was one saint in the last pocket but I just killed the ones guarding the Heron and went out.
So, not only is it bugged, it's also gimped. I guess too many 1 month old players lost their drakes in that mission or something...

Notice'd the same thing only with Serp/Gurista. Pithi ships used to fire at you as soon as you started moving towards them and now they don't. 1st pocket bounty's went from 7 mil to 5 mil. So much easier now. Guess the whiners got their wish.

Bah wtf? They shoulda nerfed the Drake shield recharge time to 3000 secs so those dolts stop taking them into L4s or something.
Really, that sounds like a TOTALLY uncalled for nerf to a perfectly fine mission... ![Crying or Very sad](/images/icon_cry.gif)
Wonder what they did to The Blockade and Gone Berserk...

Wonder what they did to The Blockade and Gone Berserk...
Anyone got berzek recently ? Are they still dropping loot like theres no tomorrow or has nerfbat splashed it ? It is (or was if nerfed) only mission I'm looting.
And doh about bountynerf on WC. It was my favourite mission. Wonder if they tuned down both stages ? Is it worthwhile now to run both second stages? (I used to skip gurista stage on gurista/serpentis version due to heavy amount of HAC's).

Anyone done the Serp/Gurista version? Are all those Dread and Dire Guristas still on the other side of the Guristas gate? I loved cleaning out that room.

it was made clear before the Rev II patch that Lvl 4 missions would be nerfed a bit to make them less of a jump from lvl 3 to lvl 4. lvl 5 is where the uber missions are going to be.
With less risk in lvl 4 missions, you would expect that the reward would be reduced as well.
Fine with me, more missions I can run in my Drake, less skipped.

Instead they create a huge jump between lvl 4s and 5s. Between yawnfests and forced, low sec, gang work. Gimme lvl 4.5 missions, kthnx.

And it was also made clear by the mission players before Rev2 that this move would be a most stupid idea that can only have grown in the minds of devs totally removed from their PvE player base.
And you should go fight BoB or something rather than run lvl4s in a ship that is not supposed to do them (and thus should play NO role in balancing them) and subsequently help spoil them for the professionals...

thats totaly sucky, Worlds collide was a great mission solo to kee you going for a good few hours or a great blast in a gang.
shame they felt the need to nerf it :(

Did Gone Berserk just before restart. Every wreck had loot, not uberific loot, but it was there anyway. Some named stuff... seems normal.

Hmm, WC was my favorite mission as well. It sounds like it won't be anymore. It was perfectly fine the way it was... took me some while to clear it all but it was worth it atleast because of the bounties.

In WC? Then yes they are. Gurista's are also at last pocket where the Heron is. It appears, other than 1st pocket, WC has same ships and bounties in subsequent pockets. And the Overseer? Still there and still drops crap loot. Tho I did get a nice Arbie siege launcher somewhere in the mission.
