m0o is dominating eve right now! They went out to CFS and well... we all know what happened out there... now they are taking fountain over... soon empire space wont even be safe anymore :P

Oh yeah, we were actually talking about these only a week or 2 ago in TS, and agreed we'd love to have a go at them, we even discussed a few tactics we could use on them.
The only thing we will ask of them if they wish to take active roles in the game again is that they agree that once they come into the game they ARE IN THE GAME.
This means
1. no inst-spawning right on top of ppl, they warp in.
2. No unlockable or indistructable ships.
3. If they loose or get podded, the corpses remain ingame.
4. If they wish to use ubber equipment or that of a higher tech lvl, it remains in the game if it is retrived, if they cant do this they need to use the same Tech lvl as everyone else.
Other than that, Bring it on.
it would be a bit of fun

Hmm - can anyone say 'overextending their reach'? I think we've seen this before - M0o running all over the place, podding at will and crowing over it. Becoming over-confident and complacent. Then people get fed up and start hitting them over and over again. Defeat follows defeat. M0o members start complaining louder and louder on the forums about how CCP won't let them play the game the way it's meant to be played, threaten dire consequences, and then leave.
Of course it may not happen like that ... again. :)

How that translates into "dominating" the Eve Universe is anybody's guess.

M0o isn't dominating Eve...They just appear to be doing what they have done for a long time. They come in; Kill everything that moves in a particular system and then move on when the opposition becomes too great.
"Cowardly"? Some might call it that, but how many of you would stand and fight when a superior force (With superior weapons/tactics/communications) jumps in system and tries to engage you?
IF CCP does decide to send in those "Special Forces" and wipe out M0o then that is CCP's choice. Too bad if the odds are stacked against M0o; Poetic justice you might call it, although I am sure that some of the M0o members will be on here whining about it soon after.

 M0o. The Betas have known them since, well, Beta. They terrorized Noobs and ran away when a real fight presented itself. They are currently in a Mercenary Contract with Curse Alliance to lay sge to Fountain Alliance. While they cannot and will not make us leave the Region, it is an incredible inconvenience to the corporations that live there to be at constant war. M0o have nothing better to do than to pester players with their childish taunts. They must need to bolster their confidence in this way because of there small manhood's in R/L
Like ****** ******* and Osamma Bin Laden, Curse Alliance are terrorists. They have no legitimate claim to the region, yet they insist that we leave. The Confederation of Free Stars has closed it's doors and stopped patrolling it's protectorate, allowing Curse Alliance more territory to mine and make war. If Fountain Alliance fails to repel this invasion Curse will have all the more reason to make war on the rest of Eve.
What price Freedom you ask? Sacrifice. Come to Fountain and join our fight for the freedom of Fountain, and EVE.

They are good no doubt about that, but keep in mind that they do a few things that you just cant defend against.
1. Guerilla warfare
First they log on to their TeamSpeak server, talk a bit about who is logged where and then they all mass connect to EVE. The do some damage, gang warp all over the place and then log off again.
Now take the side of the 'good guys'... They need to defend a bottleneck system all the time, waiting for m0o or another pirate corp to connect. Their forces need rest, do other stuff who knows... So they are always spread thin, firepower-wise. m0o can stay logged off for 24 hours and when they get back on, people are scrambling all over the universe to get the system defended from them.
2. Pre-planning
They get an alt to the next good bottleneck, camping spot or whatever and make a ****load of bookmarks.. Everyone gets those bookmarks, and this enables them to warp to the correct spot every time, always at the perfect range to do most damage. Probably bookmarks that are borderlining the grid in all 4 corners.
3. They move around
They kick some ass at CFS, then leave them alone and kick Fountain around. CFS has replenished their forces and m0o comes back. Then when they're done there.. they move to another location etc.
4. Money
They've got the money to get destroyed 10 times over, also good named modules are no problem.. we drop it for them.
5. Warp Core Stabilizer-o-rama
Since they mass-logon and mass-gangwarp whenever they feel like it, they equip enough wc stabs to always warp the hell to a safe bookmark. Then, some more smacktalk later, warp in again and tell each other on TS to all target and shoot one specific guy that just happens to be at too close for comfort.

Now, not that anyone ever told me how m0o or other pirate corporations operate, but i personally think this is the way they are so successful. The beauty of this all is: There just is no way to deal with guerilla warfare in EVE. They are good at it, no doubt... but just like Stavros once said... fighting in itself is just a matter of pressing F1 - F8, and if it doesnt work out for them... warp away and log for the night.

Skin, you are 100% right.
Given the current playing setup it is impossible to defend against geurilla style tactics.
They do not stick around to fight.
Even when there are just a few people on they stay logged off hanging in Teampspeak while 1 or 2 and some spies talk trash in local.
They have skill, granted, but no honor.

Ok, you have some sort of delusional retardness. We have fought this whole conflict outnumbered, but you wouldnt know b/c you havent been there and have no clue what you are talking about. We regularly fought against 2:1 odds, even 3:1 odds but now we cant get a fight out of anyone and all we are doing right now is picking off straglers. So get off your high horses about us night fighting, grab your nub bs and come down so we can kill you.
