This is so frustrating to come home from work to find that I can't even undock from the station in Jita because of how bad the lag is.........Most I saw in local was 868. It's nice to have the occasional expansion and all........but it'd be really nice if the server's could support more players in each system. Note to self: "Never dock in Jita and go afk."

At least give us a MOTD or a traffic warning or something to show that you are at least aware of the problem. I know you won't do much in the way of fixing it before DT, but at least tell us SOMEONE has a faint idea of what is going on in the game...

So, whatever, I will wait till it clears up - hopefully soon - and will legg it out of there as soon as I can. As I said, I blame myself for going there in the first place.

Tried to set up contracts in other stations that 4-4 or something, they ran dead, put those same contracts with a +25% increase in 4-4... They were gone in less than 24h... Speaking of donkeys...

Obviously you didn't get the message from all the other posts before you. I've been to Jita plenty of times before, sure there was always a little bit of lag, but never as bad as this. I don't even know if it's lag from what everyone else is experiencing. I wasn't complaining about lag in general, I posted this because everyone in Jita were griping on the local about how bad it was. It's not normal for Jita to be this bad about logging in, getting arround and jumping out. It's kinda hard to jump clone out when you're stuck looking at space and nothing else. As I see it, I'm not "part of the problem" seems to me that it's just a small bug with the patch.

Empire marketslave	Posted - 2007.06.20 22:54:00 - [41] never understood the need to stay in jita. are a lot of these people WoW people thinking that it is the "iron forge" of eve and that they should stay there cause that is the capital of eve. lag will be reduced when people stop living there full time. if people want a market hub thats fine, but live a few jumps out it wont kill you wtih WTZ and a fast ship. CCP already has Jita on its own Node which is crazy. and without a recode of the entire game they cant use more than one node per system

It's appears to be a problem with the patch - which is most likely why the servers are coming down. Everyone posting about the problem isn't whining - they accept Jita is laggy. That's just not the issue at the moment.

Or screw with the sec rating... or have hostile NPC's fly through like, say, I don't know, BS's with smartbombs outside the docking chute. Something, anything, people are too dumb to fix what they themselves have created in Jita.

I'm not talking about NORMAL Jita lag, that's tolerable. The problem is more than that. No one can log in properly or undock and if they are one of the few lucky enough to make it into space, they can't go anywhere anyways. All characters in Jita are stuck. Not because of overcrowding, the number of people in Jita when the issue started were high-norm, pretty much what you would see on a weekend. So I'll do this for you if you still don't get it. KISS Keep it simple stupid Not normal lag. High-norm ammount of players in area. Not caused by over abundance of players. Now is the reason for the server being shut down for emergency fixing. If it was normal Jita lag, the server would not be shut down. It seems the only part you two read and understood was: "Jita" "Lag" Do some more reading before you go trolling about stupid crap. And if you don't care as you have obviously stated......why are you posting in this thread? If you don't care then fine, go ahead and not care, but do us all a favor and keep your "not caring" worthless trolling posts to yourself.
