Are you a real life woman playing EVE-online? If so I would like to hear from you.
Mostly I would like to hear your thoughts about what it's like to be a girl playing EVE. Do you feel it's dominantly a man eat everything society? Or do you think women are equally represented?
How long have you been playing Eve? What do you specialise in? Do you run/own/organise a corp?

As for women in EVE, being part of a near enough all mail corp with 1 female corpie i can guess how it must feel for most women EVE players however in IAC we have another female player who is a lot more outspoken and if alliance chat is heading south its normally her fault :P

I'm a real life woman playing EVE and have had nothing but great experiences with guys in the corps I've been a member of. There was one guy that out of the clear blue sky convo'd me and got right to inquiring whether I'd be interested in a little adult roleplay, but meh...it was kind of funny and flattering in a weird way and I just laughed it off and said no. It really boils down to the fact that I'm simply not that offendable and hey, I can dish it out as well as any guy. I think that's the secret of having fun in Eve where most of the players are guys.

I've been playing just shy of a year and have enjoyed almost every minute of EVE. Do the male players act differently around me? They most certainly do. Do I get extra gifts cuz of it? I most certainly do. Occasionally I do meet the poorly raised male that doesn't know how to act around a girl, but not too often. On vent/TS the guys tend to a be a little more unruly (at least imo) so I do try to avoid that. I only make appearances on a voice system when absolutely required.
