I'm not a trekkie, but looking at those ships made me kinda sad when I compared them to most Eve ships. I'm stuck with a domi for quite a while and... well it's ugly as hell. And it's not even Minmatar. If Amarr didn't blow I'd be piloting them for sure, cause at least they look decent.

I just don't like the asymmetric Caldari ships. I mean, it's one thing to make a ship asymetric, it's quite another to make it as grotesque looking as a Raven.
At least if they make these ships fugly, they could make them look fugly for a damned reason.
The Domi isn't that bad, it'd look pretty nice if it were shorter and a little longer.

My alt's Sigil looks more like a combat ship than the Domi. I guess it's supposed to be the Vexor's big bro but ugh... It just looks so much worse.

Heh... eve has it's ugly ships and it's pretty ships. Personally, I'm not very impressed with the ones in that link.
yes, the moa, the griffen, the scorp, the raven, the bantam (see the patern?) are all as hideous as the most hideous sci-fi abortion ever envisioned. But there are quite a few attractive designs, imo:
Naglefar, Rifter, Huricane, Maelstrom, most amarr cruisers, punisher, executioner, megathron, kestrel, caracal, etc.... all pretty decent looking. :) Although, personally I can't stand any of the wildly asymetrical designs that CCP used to love so much. I just imagine all these tempest flying in circles all the time cause of has an enging in the middle, on the bottom, but not on the top.

I dunno...the Ragnarok is "new" and it looks like ****...literally. I saw Orange Species fooling around with his on the test server and it literally looks like a 100km long turd.

tbh i'd say the ships linked in the op are fugly. they are totally boring looking.
eve mostly has very original designs and thats the best thing about it.

I only fly the purrdy looking ships, personaly. IE- Rokh, MegaT, Hyperion, Myrmidon, Harpy, Curse / Pilgrim, etc...
But I will admit that there are some ships that I think are real sexy that a do not fly simply cause I dont want to take the time to train for them.
IE- Abaddon, Malestrom, HURRICANE!!!, Drake, Deimos, etc

The Megathron is a sexy beast. The Dominix however, could do with re-modelling. I think it would be nice to see something more angular, as it's supposed to date back to the time when the Gallente and Caldari were closer.

I actually like the Scorpion alot. It might be ugly, but it damn sure looks dangerous.

Well, I fly the Domi and I almost always have my view zoomed out to avoid looking at the ship. It IS fugly.
Other ships look beautiful (Rax or Geddon anyone?), some ships look cool (Mega Vexor or Hyp), some look mean (Brutix or Apoc).
Overall, Caldari are uglier than what is left in the toilet after a bad night of drinking... most Minnie ships look like you built a model at home, then fell on it after a night of drinking.
It's CCP... I guess their art department is drunk most of the time.
Just be glad it's not a FPS or a space sim where you NEED to be zoomed in on you ship most of the time

Many ships aren't vey beautiful, but it has it charm. Many of the design, ugly or pretty are really original. The only thing I don't like about my Hurricane-class battlecruiser is the surprisingly small artillery pieces.

That SoulWolf ship is hot (to me).
WRT the Domi: a battleship should look like it's going to blow **** up. The domi looks like an industrial. It looks like it's gonna haul construction blocks. The Mega, now that is hawt.

It'd be ultra hot if you had an option of two skins to pick from for each ship. That way you can get the best ship for your skills and get the one that you like to look at best.

Those trek ships are ugly, and fan-made too.
The Amarr have the sexiest ships in existance. Caldari ships are second - I love the look of the Raven and the asymmetry - it's space goddamit.
