I cant believe im actually going to partially defend BoB...oye.
Look..a titan kill is a titan kill is a titan kill. In the end they are ALL the same.
How so? They all just cost the owners a crap load of ISK. They all just made the news. And (once devs get off butts) they all end up monuments.
I dare someone to argue that the "how" of killing a titan matters...its still the same ISK price tag.
Heres an analogy. I am a mugger in NY. I go rob a purse from an old lady..i get 100bucks. I go rob a wallet from some guy who tries to fight me off and fails..i get 100 bucks.
The difference? Nothing. I still made 100 bucks.
Yes you can get into the morality debate of logged off or logged on titan. But in the end..you still have a dead titan. A dead assest, and a morale hit.
Look, if i want to seriously hurt an adversary, say the general of the enemy army. I can go kill him..but chances are he is gaurded. Or i can just be a total a-hole, go find his family and kill them, breaking his mental state by doing so. End result? Enemy General is out of commission.
My point is that it REALLY doesnt matter when it comes to the legitness (Legit as in "morally acceptable". Obviously they were all legal by the rules of the game or the titans would have been replaced).
But yeh, good job goons for killing Shrike. Why? You showed coordination with your allies and proved just what yall can do when you want to. Thats a chip on the shoulder not many get to have.
And before ANYONE flames me about the legit kill issue...Ill leave you with two things to think about.
