I would love if you guys had a sofa instead of the table :)
I'm not saying give into to the modern day norm I guess but...
daily shows don't use a table for the guests

now that I think about it was the studoi so expensive because of location
it had to be in iceland
if so then I guess my suggestions are unwarrented as you don't have access to a nice open studio :(
Also live interviews with players over webcam would be awesome

get a nice uber sofa
we could even start a sofa for the EvE TV team fund!

and come to think of it I bet studios like AOTS are in the 100's of millions
is there anything wrong with watching other examples of gaming news?

the way you did the playmeet was perfect
the interview one on one table thing works prefectly

You know what would maie it more interesting? Space hoppers! for every article the reporter reads they have to space hop down a set of stairs!

If there was a sofa I would probably be left sleeping on it at the end of the day behind the studio curtain, missing the last train! As long as someone woke me up at the end of the day I can deal with that.

aye it happens, occasionally people would sleep on set during the alliance tourney last time or you find random beer bottles around the sofa because some late night CCPers were playing "tv show" after hours

Yeah but you can fill a pod chair with ice and chill beer in it. When the camera is rolling, just turn the chair around so nobody can see. Paint a big smiley face on the back or something. :)

Aye, strongly agree on bringing back the sofa. Make it more of a chilling atmosphere.. just like we would watch a conversation of close friends in our living room or garage even.
