Bring back privateers. 
Some of the best fights I've ever had were with some of the more organized privateers gangs near Amarr, without carriers and alll that type of stuff, just pew pew.

No, I work during the day and get real money that allows me to buy computers that allow me to fly make pretendy space ships. Which I do cause I like to. When I don't like to I sometimes run round a dungeon. Or watch Dr. Who fighting The Master.

I still play in empire, I just don't do it with wardecs. So my ikle Caracal goes pop after every encounter. And I have to ***** missions to get the sec status up again. But the better quality of smak makes up for this.

The Privateers were a clever bunch who came up with a genius way of playing the game mechanics to their advantage, and deserve much kudos for it. But anyone who didn't realise CCP were going to fix it up as soon as they could implement the change were just plain delusional.
If they'd wanted Empire to be a PvP free for all, they wouldn't have put in the all pervasive force of CONCORD to pop every aggressive ship in 5 seconds flat. I really hope Privateers enjoyed it while it lasted, but the loop hole has now been fixed. "Whining carebears" had very little to do with it.

Pretty simple if you want something like open pvp head out to 0.0, let's not sugar coat it privateers were gimptards who exploited the war dec system to get safe ganks. So man up and head out to 0.0 BoB is waiting for you if you crave pvp O.o

Maybe this has something to do with his bitter outlook on the privatters.

I liked Privateers because for a brief time they made self-styled "0.0" alliances live up to their name. There is nothing bad about that. I can't imagine a single alliance pilot with a professional attitude, having anything bad to say about seeing the chaff mopped up. I bet it did a lot of outfits a lot of good, to be honest, you need to trim the fat regularly.

I lost several ships fighting LV and others in 0.0 at that time. I've also lost a lot more ships than that to Triumvirate, Proper Response and Roadkill in the last month. Recently I lost an Ares with a gistii a-type mwd and about 150 mil worth of implants to an RK gang (more money that I had ever seen in my character's wallet back when I was in Igneus and at war with you).
You don't see me saying anything bad about any of them or wanting anything they do or combat in 0.0 or low-sec to be changed in any way, do you?
Edit: Oh, I also lost a Dominix in an incident back then where one alliance that we had as blue didn't have us as set as friendly. I'm no stranger to losing ships. I haven't had a single one last past one insurance period yet.

Privateers should be un-nerfed.
1 - more risk in high-sec.
2 - less clutter in mission hubs, trade hubs.
3 - less ppl in Jita.
And this is coming from someone who financially would lose if Privateers were un-nerfed.
Privateers are needed back as part of the NEED FOR SPEED initiative. :)
PS: I also miss the muffins in Jita local. :(
