I have followed the above link, and submitted a complaint.
I doubt it will help - these ISP's care for the $$$$$ not the end customer. hence why they tie you down on 12month contracts that you can only buy out of - which is what I will be doing on friday.
Which is a good UK isp to use?

so they have kept the icmp port open.. just blocked the EVE ports.. wonder what other games are like ( i dont have any other installed to test). The UK gets such a bad deal when it comes to money grabbing, low end, RUBBISH ISPs.
Are there any goodish ones?

Now i see Status: OK, however it goes to the "aquiring bulk data" and fails.. GRRRRRRRR

went for me also. pipex / tiscali are such idiots. I spent 3 hours on the call - think i am just going 2 have 2 buy out of the contract.

Yup me too. Just as I was saying to my mate 'I'm thinking of ratting or something until Tiscali gets their act together'. Either that or I'm going to use www.your-freedom.net again. The free package works but disco's every 60 minutes. It's not expensive but it's not something we should have to do.

hmmmmm it almost works - if it does, im gonna buy it..
i can get as far as entering the game, and then i get the "DT message" - but no juice after :(( grrrr

right, installed some more apps, and going through a load of stuff with some networking friends - IF this works, I will stick a how-too-guide up for you all - should work regardless of ISP. :)

i am currently able to connect - can other tiscali / pipex customer connect? IF NOT, i will publish my findings, and the way you can connect using www.your-freedom.net and OpenVPN.
