Edited by: Ia 'Ras on 18/01/2004 18:24:35 Yes. We're waiting long for client bug-fixes. Like bookmarks - mega freeze. And others. So don't make us wait even more

I think some big chaos patch is due approx one week, give a week for tetsing and debugging any major issues in that and you've got a TQ patch before the end of January, ish ;)

What I do is watch Traveler's Patch log. When he starts to not post on it, you know the code is frozen and release is soon. That is my method. -Domaru

Put all your bookmarks into folders. Freeze goes away. Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

I hope they fix the issues on chaos before patching. Don't rush them, try it out and you'll get the idea why.

To be honest, i don't know an exact patch date. We are about to fix the last bugs on chaos. Then we will test the build. If we do not find any show stopper it will be released. Maybe this week maybe next week.
The more people test and help to find bugs the earlier TQ will be patched. Please join testing on chaos and join the #eve-chaos channel on irc.coldfront.net to report bugs.

I get those words a lot where I work. It literaly means: "We can't fix all darn bugs at once, give us a break people. You just have to learn to live with small issues that usually have workarounds..."
At least where I work ______

A show stopper in CCPs understanding is if something breaks that has worked before.

Well, then you'd have to shut down with the # of 'show stoppers' by that definition, Traveler. It ain't over till the fat lady falls on ya!

Is this the official and only way of reporting bugs? Also if say I did try Chaos again, how do I know if the bug has already been reported 600 times? Is there not an official regularly updated list of TQ bugs and/or Chaos bugs that we can check before reporting? |

The official way to report bugs is via the page http://myeve.eve-online.com/bugreporting.asp (in Eve Insider). But often it¦s more effective if you also write in #eve-chaos about a bug, because BHs and Devs can ask you for detailed info.
There isn¦t an open official list of bugs, but you can ask in #eve-chaos if a specific bug is known already. The IRC-bot Trimaster has also a function to get info about reported bugs.

I see they have made the grids much bigger without telling anyone. A good thing if you ask me.
Perhaps now you can warp into camped gates with a fairer chance of actually being able to see your enemy.
Hopefully the end of 'Something has begun to warp scramble Something'
