If you log on to the test server, you're a volunteer bug hunter. A volunteer bug hunter should be able to figure out "copy over TQ install into new directory, and add a switch to the command line". If you consider these 2 steps too tricky, you really shouldn't b trying to help out at bug hunting.

Just to be absolutely sure what we're talking about here when you say "tinker for hours". You copy your TQ client's build directory (right click, copy, right click, paste, wait). You add the switch "/end /LUA:off" to your launcher. You let the auto-patcher patch the new client to the test build.
That takes you hours?
None of this is mucking around with code, or settings, or hand-parsing binary. Its just standard Windows user stuff. If you plan on bug hunting, honestly this is not anything special. A few scant years ago, this was standard for starting ANY program.

You pay for access to Tranq. Sisi is like...a free added extra.
Imagine you go in to McDonald's and order a cheeseburger. The guy behind the till says "for this week, all cheeseburger's come with a free new McDesert, for trial purposes!". You eat your cheeseburger, then eat your new McDesert. You don't like it.
Do you then demand your money back? Do McDonald's owe you anything?
