Dai Lithium	Posted - 2007.06.27 07:44:00 - [31] I've been pirating for one week. Gate camping is not an option, as I can't tank or snipe yet, so belt hunting is the option that's left to me. I think it's great fun, and I have no scruples about attacking new players, as I'm one myself. Sniping at gates and camping stations does seem pretty boring though. Surely there are other ways to do it.

Killing ppl on the gates is the best way to get BS kills and to make isk out of Piracy. 90% of my kills are on gates, its not often i find anyone in belts these days as if they are watching local (like most ppl do) the use the Lovely Warp to 0km and dock. Dont complain to us, complain to ccp for making Piracy into Gate camps. So who had the pleasure of Killing You? Im siding with the evil side. There is no way nowdays to make decent isk from belt piracy. Heck, ore thieving is probably more profitable. Only a few people nowdays go to the belts in low sec. EVERYONE at some point goes to a gate in low sec. Ontop of that, you dont have to go find them, as they come straight to you. Now logically, to all you 'yarrr' haters...which is more PROFITABLE? And to the guy who said 'surely it gets boring'......its alot less boring than roaming around belts for 3-4 hours, and not even SEEING anyone. Btw - Yo eve warrior :)

No doubting that it works in the right places but to say that its the only option because CCP have nerfed piracy just isn't true. There are some bloody good pilots out there who regularly indulge in solo belt piracy and get away with it. Complex Potential, Yucali and Japana to name just three of the pirates who belt pirate routinely.
