Difference is those people were not recruited directly from the recruitment channel that has a MOTD that clearly states no scamming. If you did this and the logs show you recruited from the channel, I think you are going to have a lot of time on your hands as you won't be playing EVE if you get banned for it. I will watch this thread with interest.
