Edited by: Kagura Nikon on 28/06/2007 01:03:11 Hell of a fight. About 85 IAC and _A_ engaged at least 130 FIX (includign 5 carriers)
We held the field killed 3 carriers and most of their support fleet.
Prolly one of our FC will give a more precise report. But basically they were pursuing us.. until we reinforced gang in 5v. Jumped about 25 guys into them so they engaged. They bite the trap and cyno 5 carriers. We jump the rest in adn a great slugfest comence.

IAC camping fix stations. Fix finish transport op 10 freighters iirc. Fix form blob which gets to about 100 + IAC cant match numbers so drop back, small amount of reinforcements join + DKOD (us) gang in nearby area eager for some pewpew decide to join in. friendly gang about 80 strong. IAC get chased. Stop turn around jump in to fix camp Pewpew starts Some lag for sure at beginning Fix jump in 4 carriers and dread. More pewpew Fix support dead. 1 dread and carrier jump out 3 of them die. Was much fun by everyone. Thanks FIX for the fight and IAC for letting us join in
Kind Regards Anaka Totoch
Edit: Frapsage should be in the new Brute force vid coming out soonÖ, i know that at least 2 of our pilots got the whole thing on fraps. yarrr "'Til death, for pride and honour!" |

Edited by: Zarcan on 28/06/2007 01:08:05 I have heard statistics from chat that we (IAC/POS/AAA) lost around 25-30 ships, so less than 1/3 losses, and nearly decimated the Fix fleet, along with three carriers.
This is just what I have heard. I'd like a confirmation report as well.

So jealous I missed this.
From the looks of the KB, and from what I've heard so far this was a great fight, kudos to all.

we have aproximatley 110 kills over about 30 of em pods
3 carriers downed, 1 carrier, 1 dread escaped.
killboard ballance for the day is about + 9.5 billion

Edited by: Merrin Farthing on 28/06/2007 01:25:04 well i think the numbers were slightly more even according to our KB IAC had 95 and i think our gang was a bit under that.
IAC brought it and spanked us and in case your wondering i was one of the carriers on an alt.

Our KB shows the fight as 70/95 FIX/IAC et. al. Not saying its perfect but I think the numbers quoted may be a bit off. Sorry I missed most of this fight sounded like great fun on teamspeak. Local was very respectful.

A good fight from Fix - No local smack - with a simple GF at the end.
On the whole numbers thing - they may have been roughly but I saw only saw 5 cap ships on the battlefield and they all belonged to Fix.
Thanks for the fight.

Yeah there was another hostile gang of about 50 escorting the freighters upchain a bit, that we were worrying the whole time was gonna join in. Frankly if the object was to keep up from whatever was in those 14 freighter loads, FIXs losses may well have been worth it.

the 16 freighters were mine. When we recieved word of a hostile gang in the 9cg area we decided to log the space trucks and get some pew. 50 in our gang we move one jump from 9cg and find a 20 man fix gang. local in 9cg is at 70 all hostile.
We set up on the gate and wait for the even numbers to jump to us. They do not and instead jump away from us.
We play chase me, chase me, for as long as my old brain can stand (about two jumps) we bid fix farewell and move back to the space trucks logged off in mkd.
All space trucks arrived safely. More big ships for team cool, well done fix you averted a near tragedy.

Edited by: VileLust on 28/06/2007 02:34:59 I had a great time :) As for the details. IAC had THREE gangs formed in different spots, all doing something. AAA had a force of 15 or so around northern FIX space. We saw 14 freighters and figured we would kill their support fleet. As we got close and got together, FIX/Co managed to box us in, they had 91 in I believe p-z waiting for our 65. Behind us they had a group of I believe 20-25, I guess reinforcements. Well we waited for the 91 gang to come to us, and they didnt..
So we turned and ran in to smack the smaller gang that was in the way, they didnt hold their ground like we had assumed they would. The help FIX had(about 50ish pilots) Didnt move with the FIX gang to come after us. After all the IAC/AAA gangs got together we had 72 pilots in 5V waiting for what we assumed would be nearly 130 enemies. FIX came, 1 jump out, with less than 100.. we knew we had it. We sent in the bait, they came for it, and we jumped in the rest. At this point we had another 10 or so come to back us up, bringing our numbers mid-battle to around 90. The fight was going to over fast.
I believe five caps jumped on us, uh oh. We held down, assuming the entire time 50 reds would be on us as backup. I told the fleet to EW the carriers and ignore them, focus on their support - the fleet listened. When FIX saw the battle was over they tried to run, sadly we didnt have the dread/a carrier locked down. It was a simple game of time at this point, as we killed three carriers. Looting took forever >_<
GF Fix, TBH I think you should have won that=[ IAC were split in 4 groups, AAA 5th group in a different voice chat.. and we had MASS in our gang in their own channels talking. We really should be dead;/ oh well - whoever was FC isnt happy I'm sure
GF really, was a blast. And we DID outnumber the enemy fleet by the time the caps were in, so make no mistake we had the upper hand for atleast half the fight. You guys should have hit us when the freighter escort was with you - we had less numbers then, and you had about 50 more.
smack whoever didnt make that call to jump us fast :( your delay is the reason we won

This is just what I have heard. I'd like a confirmation report as well.
I'd be a bit worried if they sustained 33% losses and only decimated the opposition.

Most people do not know decimated means killed one in 10. bit of a anachrinism.
