This may be a noob question, but where does everyone get Faction loot? Missions? Or Lowsec Ratting? Stuff like this...
Do you work up standing with a Guristas Agent? Or do you just jump belts in 0.0 looking for Angels or Domination spawns?
Does anyone know of a guide on how to get faction loot?
I recently traded my mining/industrial character for a n all out PVP character but I still want to be able to make some good money. Being able to handle the combat is not an issue, I just don't know where to look. 
Any info or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

There is a chance that a faction rat will spawn in a belt instead of normal rats. These rats drop faction items. You can also find faction rats in exploration complexes and escalations.

You can also get faction loot from missions. Domination drops are quite nice.

So the Drone Regions would be a good place to rat?
Do you just jump from belt to belt out there, or can you get missions that have Domination rats in them?

I got a Domination Stasis Webifier and Domination Shield Boost Amplifier from Level 3 mission running in Sinq Laison. Sure, they are not common drops, but they happen.

you got faction loot from level 3`s??
ive done 1000`s mostly around placid region and missions contain blood/gurista/serpentis and i must say the loot that is dropped is absolutely appalling. the best thing ive ever had was 2x arbalest missile launcher (not at same time) during 2 months of level 3`s
should i move to a domination area? cuz no faction drops here.
compared to ratting i did in 0.2 space l3 mission loot is depressing

I've gotten a faction mod from a level 3 mission, it was a storyline though (A force to be reckoned with- I think).

ive gotten a domination tracking enhancer from a L3, also got 3 arbalest missile launchers from 2 L2s :P
quite random me thinks

Keep ratting in the exact same belt every night/day , and eventually you start getting ships like Dread Guristas spawning .
I've gotten 2 T2 Implants from them so far , in an 0.5 system .
Just keep cleaning all belts in that system every day for a couple of weeks , and eventually you will get them  G/L !

but yea.. if you're very very lucky you can get 2 overseers in one mission (one in each faction;s room)

LP store in Empire, anymore.
Really, the LP store has all the items you could want on demand. The Navy faction is equal to their pirate counterparts. Guristas mods are the exact same as Caldari Navy Mods, Dominatio = Republic Fleet, ect. So why go out and get a ahce to get faction items, when you can run missions in Empire and get them.

Indeed. Just had a Gurista overseer drop a Dread Cruise launcher and a Dread BCU.

you're best bet is to do some 0.0 chain-ratting for a few weeks/months.
You should get a better chance of faction spawns plus since you'll make load of cash, you can buy whatever you want from Jita that you don't find ratting
